This condo being offered to you has been noted in many well known travels books with a star or 'favorite' property designation. Purchased in 1998 and later going through a total/complete $15,000 renovation which included purchases of Hawaii 5-0 memorabilia at the Hawaii 5-0 Con where one of Jack Lord's favorite Aloha shirts and other items brought to the convention by Marie Lord were purchased in open bidding. This condo is one of only 8 in our building with a larger wrap around lanai of 180 square feet and has room for a chaise lounge and table with two chairs and other beach items. This is a dedicated non-smoking condo. All items are of high quality and in the condo for your comfort and convenience. Everything works which in Waikiki with it's aging building and Owner's not involved in the daily operations is a real plus. Cleanliness is exceptional. This condo is the real deal and at 'a very affordable rate'. The specialty of this condo is in 'monthly stays' and as our guests often say, 'We got what we expected and the photos were exact and precise - no surprises here.' Close to everything in the Heart of Waikiki. This condo is only available for stays of 30 days and longer.

Owner lives on property and has a background in the Hotel Industry. Pat was a former licensed specialty contractor who also owned a furniture store for over 20 years that furnished many hotel rooms and condo vacation rentals on all the Islands.

Pat and Mana Winston purchased this condo in 1998

This condo WHEN PURCHASED IN 1998 was beaten up, in horrible/bad condition and had been neglected and very poorly managed by a local real estate firm. Condo was larger than other side units and since everything needed to be redone it allowed us to create the 'Hawaii 5-0' theme and do a complete and total renovation that took 9 months to complete. The wrap around lanai was a plus and can be seen in the clear and complete photos shown on this site.

This is a one of a kind experience. Perfect for single business people on extended stays. This is our only king size bed. Condo has been visited by a number of current Hawaii 5-0 crew members.

BACK TO THE GOOD O0LD DAYS

Upon stepping into the past, I was pleasantly surprised to see the extent to which Pat has recreated this important time in Hawaii. A truly impressive unit that takes you back in time. Not only eye-catching, but clean and well appointed. Our short stay here was fabulous and helped erase the memories of our cold winter in Ontario.

GREAT VALUE IN WAIKIKI

This condo is conveniently located to beaches, shopping areas, restaurants and business districts. The owner recommended a parking garage a block away at a reasonable monthly rate. The condo was very clean and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Those who remember the old Hawaii Five-0 TV series will enjoy the memorabilia and décor in this condo. There is a nice pool and a grill available for guests use plus a laundry. The owners are very hospitable and make you feel right at home. I would recommend highly for anyone looking for an extended stay in the Honolulu / Waikiki area.

Owner's Response: Thank you Gary, I am glad your extended stay has worked out good. Parking is now a real glitch and an expensive one for many Waikiki condos and hotels with many averaging between $15-$30 a day. Parking at a street meter can work for a shorter stay, but with meter tickets between $35-$45 and often waits for something to open on he street it surely is not feasible for a several month stay.
I never thought even just a few years ago that paying $150-$180 a month for temporary monthly parking would be a good deal, but today it sure is for the extended/monthly guests. I think for the many vacation condos who do not have or offer parking it is not cool for those owners/agents to just say we have no parking and you are on your own. Finding a parking place that is not $25 a day is not easy and I was glad to be of help.

We are very pleased with the accommodaiton in the condo suite "Hawaii 5-0". The facilities are very clean and situated in central Waikiki near all points of interest(beaches,shopping,tourist attractions,parks, restaurants, groceries, bus transportation to all points of interest on the Island. etc---) The condo is supplied with everything as mentioned in this homeaway publication. Mr. and Mrs. Winston are very kind and helpful to their tenants. We gladly refer these accomodations to anyone seeking a good stay in Waikiki.

Back for the 4th time and once again enjoyed our time in this retro condo close to the beaches of Waikiki, steps from shopping and convenient to the Ali Wai Canal for jogging. All of the travellers needs are well taken care of by the resident owners together with an on site manager. It should be noted that the hotel is well-maintained and the pool/patio area is kept extremely clean. We took advantage of the "high end" barbecue available to guests and enjoyed dinner by the pool surrounded by lush tropical plants highlighted by the light of the tiki torches.

HAPPY CANADIAN SUMMER SCHOOL STUDENT

When first looking for a place to stay for the month of August while attending the UH ``Nice Program`` I contacted Pat and several other potential, places. I was unaware how expensive Honolulu was compared to Quebec, but luckily Pat was able to reduce his already great price to allow a student like myself on a tight budget to stay in his ``Hawaii 5-0 Condo``. As other`s have said in their reviews the location is ideal and it is close to the bus lines that I require to get to UH. I like best the cleanliness, the good free WI-FI conction for my laptop and that I have everything that I need not to mention other extras that I have found in the unit like a high quality steam iron, Lot`s of towels and the wrap around balconey are good.This condo is advertised as 600 square feet and for me that is very spacious.
I appreciate Pat`s hospitality and with Pat speaking some French with me it has ben a bonus staying here. I would recommend highly this condo and Pat`s business---this has helped me to enjoy my time in Hawaii.

Owner's Response: Currently we have a French Canadian gentleman in the 5-0 Suite and we just had our Swedish family also for an extended stay. Seems this is becoming an International Suite and we welcome people from Europe and Asia who have fond memories one of the longest running TV series of all time. The era of the original Hawaii 5-0 Show can be revisited and since the show is still broadcasted on Channel 11 at least 4 days a week at 7pm it is a unique experience with the memoribilia in the condo---

VACATION WITH ALOHA

We have referred other people from Sweden and they have also liked the condos they stayed in.
We have been guests of Pat's for many,many years returning from Sweden almost each year since 1999 and always staying for about 4 -8 weeks in this condo during the summer months, "The Hawaii 5-0 Suite" We like not only the great location, close to everything including easy access to the bus which we use a lot, but the kitchen and wrap around lanai were we spend time. It is a large space of over 600 square feet and is perfect for our family. Pat has always offered us a very reasonable rate for our long stays and has barely increased our rate very little in the all the years we have stayed in this suite. We like knowing which condo we will stay in each year and the Hawaii 5-0 Suite has become great for our family.

Owner's Response: One of the nice things about being an owner who lives right on property is to be personally involved and to benifit from the interaction of International folks staying here. I feel a real key is when the guests can expect or count on year after year after year to have the same condo they have become accustomed to. We try to keep our rates in line and prefer not to raise rates or when necessary to do it a little at a time. There are many perks and neat things to do in and out of Waikiki and this family has learned them very well and used the bus system to their advantage with a monthly pass during their extended stay.

Located in the 'Heart of Waikiki' but away from busy and noisy streets. We are two blocks behind the Royal Hawaiian Hotel and are a 5 minute walk to Prince Kuhio Beach via Dukes Lane. This area was one of the last areas of Waikiki to be developed in the late 1950's and early 1960's. One of a shrinking minority of lower rise buildings(We do have an elevator) and the sense of 'Old Waikiki'.

Golf: Pat can help you to book a tee time or offer suggestions on the many courses and what they offer on Oahu. We have one set of golfs available at no charge should you want to golf.

Front desk is manned by condo association employees working various shifts such as 10am-2pm and 6pm until 10pm M-Sat.
