2 cozy bedrooms, 3/4 bathroom, ideal for 2-4 people (MAXIMUM of 4 PEOPLE)

Summer 2013 is fully booked, just a few fall weeks in October are still available for the 2013 season. This 11 cottage complex has been around for years, but was converted into privately owned cottages in 2009. Our cottage, Breakers (#9), is completely renovated, and includes granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, flat screen TV with cable, bamboo flooring, & 2 parking spots. Our cottage is located directly across the street from Wallis Sands State Beach which boasts a concession stand, snack bar, and bathroom/shower facilities. This is the perfect location for lounging on the beach, biking along the seacoast, visiting historic Portsmouth, driving up the beautiful coast of Maine and returning to your cozy cottage to enjoy a cocktail on the front lawn while taking in the fabulous ocean views. Very quiet complex, with lots of private grassy areas. Available for weekly rentals only, Sat. to Sat.. Check out our great reviews. Free WiFi.

The cottage is located directly across the street from Wallis Sands state park, and just 4 miles to historic Portsmouth, NH. The seacoast has many attractions including: swimming, sailing, harbor cruises, fishing, kayaking, golfing, hiking, bicycling, antiquing, fine restaurants, several theater group performances, street fairs, jazz festival, outdoor markets, historic walking museum, art galleries, science center, quality shopping, movie theaters, malls, arcades and amusement centers. The area is historic and beautiful. Rye NH is also located approximately 6 miles from the beautiful Maine coastline, a 10 minute drive to numerous outlets in Kittery Maine, and just a 1 hour drive to Portland Maine.

  • ONLY RENTING FOR FULL WEEKS, Sat to Sat. Please do not inquire about week-end only.
  • A damage/reservation deposit of $100 is required. This must be received to secure your week(s). The deposit automatically converts to a security/damage deposit upon arrival. The deposit is not applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable within (14) days of departure, provided provisions outlined in the rental agreement are met. An additional $50 charge for each rental will be assessed as a Cleaning Fee.
  • An advance payment equal to 50% of the rental rate is required with signed confirmation at least 60 days in advance of a reservation date. The balance of the rent is due thirty (30) days before your arrival date.

Our stay turned out to be perfect. Two couples in this two bedroom would have been tight but if it's summer--no problem.
The condo was clean, welcoming and all we had hoped for. The amenities were perfect. We didn't want for a single thing---right down to umbrellas for walking in the rain. We loved being close to Portsmouth but we especially loved being able to walk on the beautiful beach every day while we were there. Petey's and Ray's in Rye for chowder and lobster. Portsmouth Harbor Tour, Navy Yard Tour, Strawberry Banke, Odiorne Science Center--all within a short drive. We loved all the beautiful houses to see in the area as well.

Just returned from a wonderful vacation at this property. The kids loved our "beach house" by the sea. So comfortable, welcoming, and well-maintained. I would highly recommend for families who want the flexibility of going to and from the beach during the day. It was everything we expected and more. Mike was very easy to work with to arrange our visit and left a nice welcoming gift; we didn't need to call him once during our stay as there was not a single issue with the property. Felt like home.

Heaven by the ocean

We stayed here in August and the place is just perfect! If you're looking to relax and get away from it all this is the place. Mike and Melissa are wonderful host, and make enjoying your vacation very easy. The location is perfect, you are across the street from the water so, no driving or long walks it's as easy as crossing the street. The place is kept beautifully with everything thing you need so you don't have to bring everything and the kitchen sink. I would highly recommend that you seriously consider this for your summer rental just don't take my week! I've rented in this area for over 30 years and this is the nicest, closest to water I've ever found. Wallis Sands is the areas best kept secret.
