Welcome to Kiawah, South Carolina’s most beautiful barrier island and home to the 2012 PGA Championship on Kiawah’s world famous Ocean Course. Kiawah is recognized by Golf World Magazine’s as the nation's '#1 Golf Resort ', by Tennis Magazine as “America’s Top Tennis Resort “ and by Travel + Leisure Family Magazine as America’s 'Top Family Resort'.
This newly renovated villa is situated in a prime location – just 500 yards to Kiawah’s incredible ten-mile beach for swimming, biking, and sunning, a minute away from the Roy Barth Tennis Center and a stone’s throw from the Sanctuary, Kiawah’s incredible five star hotel, where you can enjoy dining, afternoon tea and cocktails. And there’s always morning coffee at Java Joe's at Freshfields – Kiawah’s brand new marketplace at the island's entrance.
The villa is also within easy reach of Turtle Point Golf Club and thirty-five miles of bike paths are right outside your door. Its second (top) floor location is quiet and secluded and sits atop the lagoon, providing a magnificent view.
The living room, with its high vaulted ceiling and ceiling fan suggests a sunny, tropical theme and, of course, it boasts a large flat screen television. In addition to its other features, the villa offers free WiFi for your laptop and, for keeping in touch, unlimited free local and long distance phone calls within the US and Canada.
The master bedroom is furnished with a king bed with upgraded mattress, two night stands with ample light for reading, a large dresser and closet plus a second flat-screen television.
The screened porch, with its expansive view of the lagoon, is great for bird watching and for spotting the resident alligators. It’s cooled by the breeze and is a delightful place for breakfast, meals and evening cocktails plus it features a ceiling fan with a light if you want to read on the porch.
For off-island adventures, Charleston is just 35 minutes away. This historic city boasts antebellum houses and churchyards, secret gardens, romantic walks, renowned restaurants, colorful markets and shops. Also within striking distance for the day are historic plantations and the captivating communities of Beaufort and Savannah.
