Brand new home built in 2010, 5 acres of rolling land, post and beam timber frame, all exposed wood, granite counter tops, stainless appliances, etc., central a/c, vaulted ceilings, 2 balconies, year round stream can be seen from most rooms. All rooms painted in vivid colors, no boring white walls.Trails cut for hiking, near all lakes and mountains. Radiant heat, all wood floors. All exposed vaulted wood ceilings and beams. All douglas fir, cedar and yellow birch construction. Sled hill on property. 5 acres, trails. 2 master suites with private bathrooms and double sinks. Perfect for 2 families. Custom built, home builders own, all the best went into it. Tree house on property for children. 4 wheel drive not necessary, level driveway, off of paved road. Brand New Home- New Everything: All beds, couches, dishes, linens, towels appliances etc. are brand new this spring, house is brand new. Have great local snowplow contractor, driveway is level and 4 wheel drive is not necessary, some houses have driveways that are straight uphill or downhill, not this one. All linens and towels run through washer and dryer after each and every rental. House is kept immaculate since I alternate my time there with rentals. I pay the cleaning fee when I use the place, this way it is the same every time. The housekeeper and caretaker live 10 minutes away, you will never be stuck without anybody. Sled hill on property you can watch kids from inside house. 5 acres of trails on property surrounded by 50 acres of undeveloped wooded land. Bring your snowshoes! You do not even need to leave property, My 4, 12 and younger kids play at house every other day we stay there, it saves me $$$ from the mountain, they are outside all day and they enjoy it!

About Frank

I am a builder and designed built this fantastic home for my family. We love VT and approached the design by letting the beautiful outside into the home. We have many large windows to view the property and local woods were used in the interior. W love the outdoors. I chose the flooring from a mill down the road. We love the home and invite guests to explore the property as well, 5 acres with a beautifil stream and trails. We snoeshoe on the property, sled, and hike. I was born, raised and reside on Long Island, NY.

Why Frank chose Wilmington

The home was carefully designed by myself for function and ease of use. My suburban pulls right in garage and we unload out of the weather, usually with the kids still sleeping inside. The home features remote control thermostat operation, so I turn up the heat before myself or guests arrive, no cold home to walk into. The car also does not have snow on it in the morning and it is not cold. It has extensive fine quality wood within. The home features radient heat flooring, and central A/C. It is a large home with plenty of room for all.

What makes this house unique

After years of renting homes in VT I decided to build my own with all the features that should be part of an easy, purposeful and usefull VT home. There are no white walls in this home, all decorator colors, with wood accents. It is designed to LEED energy standards. The home is highly insulated and is not drafty. All natural materials were used.

Breathtaking new Timberframe home 2010 and close to all the mountains have to offer. Property borders year round stream viewable from several areas around house. 5 Acres of trails, property borders 50 acres of forest, no other houses around, 400' driveway, very private. Home set off of town maintained paved road, 4 wheel drive not necessary level driveway. Satellite TV 40' Plasma with hundreds of chanels and hundreds of movies on demand. You can drive your car right into garage and unload out of the weather. All wood floors with radient heat. Huge fireplace, sled hill on property as well. 1 mile to town, with 24 hour Rite Aid, supermarket, restaurants, shops, etc. 8 miles to Mt Snow.

  • Rental price and cleaning include all tax, garbage removal, snowplow, firewood restocking, utilities
  • Departure times are 10am, arrival times are 4pm so house can be cleaned. All linens and towels and pillows and cookware are provided. 50% deposit and signed lease required for the dates to be reserved with balance paid 1 month prior to rental. In cases of last minute rental within 1 month of date 100% of rental must be paid to reserve dates. Security deposit $300, refunded after inspection and cleaning by property manager. Until confirmed, prices are subject to change without notice. No refunds for cancellations or no shows. If the home is overloaded with people or a pet was there without being disclosed or excessively dirty all or part of security will be non refundable.
  • All utilities, linens, towels, cleaning, snowplowing, firewood and garbage removal are included. Please do your own dishes and leave the home reasonably clean when you leave.

Our family rented the house for a week at the end of January. We had 9 people total (3 generations) We loved the house. There was plenty of room for all of us with room left over. The owner is very easy to deal with and very helpful (especially when I accidently left my glasses behind)

The grandkids especially loved the sledding hill in the front yard. They also loved hiking in the woods down to the stream
The house is in a very quiet location but real close to home and other activities. Since we're from Florida we appreciated the flat driveway in the snow.

The fireplace was great. We had a fire every night and Frank had us well supplied with firewood. We have rented many houses and have never had such a well supplied kitchen with plenty of dishes for our whole family.

We definitely recommend this house

My party and I (8-10) have been renting houses around upstate New York and Vermont for the past couple of years now, this house was by far the nicest we have stayed in.

The owner was great to deal with, very friendly and made me feel comfortable with renting his home. The pictures of this house do not fully show how beautfiul it actually is. The living is wide and spacious and the couches are extremely comforatable. The fire place was so nice to sit in front of after a long day of the mountain.

The living table was huge and great for our family dinners and the kitchen was stocked with anything you would need.

The bedrooms were spacious and comforatble, we had not one complaint on the trip. I hope one day we are able to stay here again!

All in all the house is perfect.

Great spacious vaction house near Mt. Snow

It was a great vacation home for our family trip.

The pictures/descriptions were accurate. The house is well kept and very clean. The kitchen is well stocked. More then enough plates, silverware, cups, glasses for our party of 12. And the dining table fit all of comfortably. The rooms were spacious and plenty of linens. The showers were very clean and we never ran out of hot water. Plenty of firewood for a cozy night.

And the radiated flooring was clutch because I had forgotten my slippers at home; kept my feet warm and comfortable. The local supermarket was a short drive to get our beer/wine. The bedrooms were great. The loft however, was accessible only through one of the bedrooms. But was, again, spacious and clean.

The driveway was wide and fit our 2 suv's and 2 cars with more space to spare. The yard has a small hill that we used to go sledding (sleds also provided at the house).

And best of all, the homeowner was great to work with. Worry free transactions and easy to contact on the trip. I highly recommend this house for an awesome vacation!

Excellent Time! Perfect Location! Beautiful House!

Owners are great to deal with. Any and all questions answered and had no problems. House is beautiful in so many ways. Wide open spaces. High ceilings, spacious bathrooms and bedrooms. Rooms are painted in awesome colors. The exposed wood is a huge plus for the feeling of a true VT home. Plenty of towels available. Kitchen well stocked. Beautiful quiet setting with stream in backyard. Huge Plus and kudos to owner for having A/C !!! You truly take care and pride in this home and it shows!!! We enjoyed our stay and will be back !!!

Perfect secluded summer getaway

The property is set deep in the woods without another house in sight. The house is clean, modern and very comfortable. The huge kitchen and large dining room table are perfect for preparing and serving large meals. All of the bedrooms are comfortable.

We had rain one day and spent the whole day inside - still we had a great time.

The owner is very polite and was easy to work with. There where no surprises.
