Nice House, Great Location, Historic Savannah!

Positives: Location is great - close to the riverfront and lots of attractions/restaurants. A little close to some "seedy" portions of town, but we never felt unsafe, even at night. House has turn of the century charm and is fairly spacious. Upgraded kitchen, outdoor sitting area, and off-street parking. Pet friendly. Comfortable beds. Linens/towels provided. Washer/dryer available.
Negatives: Only one shower in the house. Master has a tub with shower head. Not a major inconvenience, but worth noting. House was clean but, being old, doesn't feel "spotless". Outdoor sitting area could use some cleanup and paint. No grill available.

Owner's Response: We unfortunately did not have a good experience with this renter. He called us before leaving, told me his family had a great time and asked again about our check out policy. I told him at the time the cleaning lady would be there promptly at 11 A.M., we had renters coming in that day, he assured me they would be out by 11. The cleaning lady calls me while I was on the way down to check things out, they are still in there at 11:15, she was upset and rightfully so, she had a tight schedule that day.. I had to ask them twice to please check out, and finally after a half hour they left. I guess they were upset and felt I rushed them, but the contract we have and they signed clearly states no late check outs.
