Relax and enjoy your summer vacation at our vacation home. It sits on a narrow peninsula offering beautiful water views just steps away. The house comes filled with little extras to make it feel like home including games, books, toys and movies. We’ll even tell you what’s going on in the area the week of your stay and can provide discounted movie tickets to the neighboring cinema. You’ll be glad you chose our cottage for your vacation. Everything is newly renovated. The bunk room now has a brand new twin-over-full bunk with trundle, and the other bedroom has a queen size bed.

The Beach: The walk to the beach is as lovely as the beach itself. The beach sits on an inlet off Waquoit Bay. This is a very popular area for canoeing and kayaking. Feel free to bring yours along. You are welcome to use our canoe/kayak carrier (wheel-ease) to roll your boat to the nearest access point (2/10 mi away). Washburn Island is just across from the beach and is a great place to explore.

When you finish at the beach, enjoy bathing au natural in the outdoor shower enclosure in the back yard.

The House: This adorable, recently renovated home is the perfect place for you & your family to enjoy your vacation together. The house is fully furnished with a well-supplied kitchen. It is also equipped with many little niceties to make you feel at home including books, toys, games and movies. See our Extras section for details on the various amenities available.

There is a beautiful yard big enough for a volley ball game, which includes a swing set & slide, a great patio where you’ll find the grill & outdoor shower, and a lovely deck for relaxing & enjoying the great outdoors.

The house is professionally cleaned the day of your arrival, including fresh linens on all the beds. There are 2 bedrooms – one with a queen size bed, the other with a twin-over-full bunk bed with a trundle bed that pulls out. The sofa is a pullout.

Our house comes equipped with basic cable, a telephone, high speed Internet (wired & wireless), a VHS player, heat, and air conditioning.

  • Short Weeks
    During peak season (July & August), if you are booking within 7 days of your vacation start date, we will consider stays shorter than a week.

    During the off-peak season, you are welcome to book a shorter stay. Our minimum stay/rate is 4 nights. Here are the rates for short weeks:

    October thru May our rate for 1-7 days is $625. Since cable, internet & phone will have been disconnected for the season, there is an optional fee of $100 if you wish to have those amenities during your stay.
  • A/C Fee:
    Rather than bumping up the rent to balance the increased cost of running air conditioning, we've decided to make this an optional amenity. We will turn on the Central Air Conditioning for an additional $50.

We loved this place. Had the best week. Weather was great, house was perfect with all the little extras included. We plan on going back next year too.
