Abutting over 70 acres of preserved property, it offers stunning views of ocean, pond and green space. All the while, you'll be only minutes to beaches, museums, fine shopping, restaurants and all the many fun activities Newport offers the seasonal or long-term visitor. On the inside, the rooms have high-ceilings, spacious, beautifully proportioned with exquisite moldings and details.(Note to architecture buffs: the house was designed by Ogden Codman, 'the father of American interior design'. All the major reception rooms--Living Room, Dining Room, Library, and Sun Room-- open via French doors to the terrace. The kitchen is updated and fully equipped.
