We stayed at this vacation rental in the fall and so we did not get to take advantage of the great lake access but we did enjoy feeding the ducks, Canadian geese and fish. Our young grandchildren enjoyed going outside on the deck (so did the adults). Everything was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans and dishes. We hope to return again. The owners were great to work with in making our reservations and arranging arrival time and departure time.

Recommended for: Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Young Children

Relaxing weekend on the lake

My husband and I stayed here with our two dogs for a long weekend away from the city. We really enjoyed our time. The house is older but very clean with lots of personal touches. There were plenty of movies and games to choose from. The water level behind the house is pretty low but other parts of the lake are a short drive away. The neighborhood was quiet with friendly neighbors. We would definitely stay here again. The owners were very accomodating and even checked in with us upon our arrival to make sure we had everything we needed. The property is well cared for and shows pride of ownership.

Relaxing Vacation

Really enjoyed the time spent at your lake house. The boat dock and sun deck were a big plus, it was nice placing the boat in the water and not having to pull it out all week. The kids enjoyed jumping off the dock into the water and swimming on those 100+ degree days. We enjoyed feeding the ducks and watching the family of foxes across the canal every morning and evening. Great location on the lake just a short boat ride for areas to ski and tube. The house itself is a little older, but in good condition and overall a great place for the price. The owners were very helpful, nothing negative to say about our experience. We would stay here again.

Recommended for: Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Adventure Seekers, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Great Family Lake House

The house was great! It has an awesome deck for fishing or lounging and it is right on the water. The community was quiet and clean. The house was clean, cool, and comfortable. We look forward to returning to this house again! We highly recommend this house for families who are looking for a great place on Lake Granbury!
There was nothing unsafe about this property at all, despite what a previous review stated.

Fantastic Rental

Once a year my family gets together for a family vacation. We were so excited to be able to rent this house on the lake. It was affordable and a perfect home for us. The owners were nice and very thoughtful. The house was clean, spacious, and met all of our needs, which is sometimes hard for us to find since we need room for wheelchair access. All of us liked that we could go out the back door and sit on the deck and watch the ducks and fish throughout the day. Each of us cant wait until next year to stay here again.
