This charming waterfront home has a open floor plan making it ideal for family retreats yet has plenty of rooms and porches for privacy. The upper level has 2 bedrooms (one a master suite), 2 bathrooms, Great Room, Kitchen, Florida room. The Great Room and Fla room are lined with sliding glass doors and windows which overlook the canal and lead to a large wrap-around deck. The upper level deck has access to a 3rd story 'widow's walk' offering panoramic views and incredible sunsets. The lower level has 3 bedrooms (one a master suite), large bathroom, laundry room, and back entrance leading to outdoor shower and large back yard with swing set/sandbox. This coastal home is located on a large access canal leading to Back Bay making it ideal for kayaks, canoes, paddle boats. The quiet neighborhood street is perfect for your short walk to the beach, biking, running, rollerblading, or just plain strolling while watching the gorgeous sunsets over Back Bay.

Sandbridge Beach is peacefully nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and Back Bay at the southeast tip of Virginia and is often referred to as the Outer Banks of Virginia. It is also home to Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge. Sandbridge is the ideal location for those who want the 'get-away-from-it-all' atmosphere yet is only 15 minutes to numerous entertainment and leisure activities such as: golf,water parks, aquarium/museum, movies, shopping, dining, concerts, and the Virginia Beach resort area and Boardwalk. Little Island Park at the southern tip of Sandbridge has a fishing pier, beach lifeguards, covered picnic area, brand new (2009) playground, showers, restrooms, snack bar, tennis courts and plenty of parking.

The screened porch doors have high locks allowing you to block the exits. The stair case inside has installed gate on the second floor and a portable gate for downstairs available if needed. Safety locks for the kitchen cabinets available. High chair, booster seats, step stools, strollers, tricycles provided. Additional baby/child items may be available upon request. Large swing set with slide, clubhouse, picnic table and sand box in backyard. Mobility issues for all ages not a problem. Once on the second level, enjoy the indoors and outdoors without using any more stairs . In addition to the two bedrooms and two bathrooms, the second level also has the kitchen, Great Room, dining area, and Florida room. Three entrances/exits also allow you to walk right out on to the large wraparound deck
