An adorable 1,000 square foot cottage on two and a half river front acres in the Scenic and Wild section of the Rogue River provides direct access to fishing and other water sports. The property is off the main road, has a fenced in area for dogs, a wood fireplace, as well as forced air heat and air conditioning. Very comfortable living room, full kitchen, and most desired amenities.
A serene wooded setting on the river, but only 15 minutes to the historic town of Grants Pass. Perfect for the avid fisherman and family who enjoy relaxation and recreation.
Grants Pass offers many antique stores, shopping, hiking and nice restaurants. Also close by is the Applegate Valley wine country, and in summer premier Pacific Northwest summer performing arts festival, the Britt Festival in historic Jacksonville, only 30 minutes away.
Great spot to relax
We took our grandchildren to this cabin for five days. It was a very nice time. The river was close and everyone had a great time. Thank you.
Would not recommend if you are wanting a quiet setting. On one side of the cabin the adjoining property has at least 10 barking dogs. Our dogs did not bark at all...wait, I forgot, they did bark when the neighbor dogs frequently came into the yard. On the other side were the sounds of trucks and farting noises--yes, farting noises. The cabin was clean and the setting is nice were it not for the neighbors. However, the couch was very old and musty smelling; please give up trying to disguise the smell and age with a slipcover. I'm from Grants Pass and am familiar with living in a rural setting and I would move if I had to live in that place.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This cabin has everything you need.It is warm and inviting.I love to cook.It even has a kitchen aid mixer. It is shabby chic with all the touches. My husband loved the river. He loves to fish. I found the antique stores in grants pass to be fun.We would definitely recommend this cabin.
You have the absolute most adorable cottage, decorated period style, and exactly my taste! Our stay could not have been more enjoyable, and your personal touches made it even better. The pics on the VRBO site just don't do it justice. We had such a great time, and the dogs (all 3 of them) could not have had a better place to "snoop", run, chase butterflies, swim, or bug us to death over food @ the BBQ ! The grounds were beautiful, setting peaceful and location perfect, as it was close to everything. While the interior was cozy and comfortable, the patio/deck and yard were even more relaxing. We listened to bullfrogs in the evening while enjoying wines we had purchased during our winery tours during the day.... Didn't actually catch any fish (couldn't keep the dogs out of the water) but enjoyed the river-walks. Thank you so much for our most enjoyable stay. We will most certainly be back !
