We visited D.C. for 11 days in October 2010. The apartment is as shown and advertised. It was clean and well appointed. The landlord is friendly and accomodating. It is about a 15 - 20 minute leisurely walk to the Capitol and the Mall beyond. There are 5-6 good restaurants and a small grocery store within walking distance. If you are touring the sights of the Capitol you don't need a car. We would recommend this apartment and would stay there again.
