Very Clean. Cottage was beautifully decorated, except for inadequate floor covering in bedroom area. Fabulous book collection keep me so entertained I didn't bother with the reading material I brought with me. Views were outstanding and the kayaks onsite were a bonus. Owner was responsive and friendly, as was one of the neighbors we spoke with. Cottage felt remote, but was very close to any type of shopping or entertainment we desired. We enjoyed our stay.
We stayed at the cottage for 6 days and had a fantastic time. It's much prettier than the photos and comes equipped with everything you need (except your food;) ). Our kids loved spending time on the ocean and we tried out the kayaks. It's an easy trip over to Seattle and the owner was helpful and checked in to make sure our stay was going well. The only "issue" we had was that our son is extremely allergic to cats and dogs and I missed that the rental allows dogs. This was completely my issue and ii would absolutely recommend this cottage, so long as significant allergies are not an issue (I didn't actually see ANY fur). Thank you for the fantastic stay!
We found the cottage to be cosy, very clean with lovely furnishings. The queen-sized bed was well appointed with crisp linens and a comforter. We did go kayaking and it was such fun, and then sat on the deck having hot chocolate and watch a sky blazing with a beautiful sunset. It was everything we wanted for a perfect get-away weekend. Thank you...we'll be back.
No tv connection. No land line telephone. Poor reading lights. Smelly bedroom pillows. Kitchen could be better equipped. A very old house that needs to be demolished. Overpriced for the value delivered.
Spent a wonderful weekend of relaxation just a short ferry ride from the city. The house is adorable and the setting is beautiful. Can't wait to return soon!
We really enjoyed our visit to this sweet little place on the water! It was very clean, nicely decorated and sooooo peaceful. We took the kayaks out quite a few times, dug for clams and oysters, and enjoyed the views. Thanks for sharing your place Constance!
