Our house has a meticulously furnished vacation apartment and is located on the outskirts of Dresden. It is easy to reach by car, not far from the A 4 and the A 13 motorways. We would be all too pleased to take you on a horse and buggy ride through the Moritzburg countryside, including showing an idyllic view of the castle and the lighthouse. Dresden, the porcelain city of Meissen, Saxony's Switzerland and numerous castles and palaces are just a few minutes' drive away. Even the Lausitz with the 1000-year-old town of Bautzen and the Spree Forest, is just an hour’s drive away. You can also explore the Moritzburger Pond Region with our house's bicycles.

The federal state's capital of Dresden is just 3 km away and you can reach the centre of town in 15 minutes. The health resort of Volkersdorf is nestled into the Moritzburger Pond Region. Volkersdorf has approximately 450 residents, most of who live in 3-sided farmhouses, some of which are still used for agriculture. The town has a small store, a flower shop, and a hairdresser's. You can dine out at a country restaurant in the neighbouring town of Bärnsdorf (3 km away). Or, you can follow 'Augusts' tracks to Moritzburg (5 km away).

Notes: The vacation apartment includes a living room with an integrated kitchen, two bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and WC, as well as satellite television. The kitchen comes complete with refrigerator, two-burner stove, a coffee machine, a toaster, cutlery and crockery. A child's cot can be provided if needed. Should you wish, we provide our guests with fresh breakfast rolls or we can prepare your breakfast.
