Famous Garden City Pier with it's 650 ft span w/ rain shelter is great for fishing and there is no saltwater fishing license required. You need a Saltwater fishing license to fish from shore. Tackle shop at the pier has all fishing needs. The Pier has an arcade for family fun for all ages.

Brookgreen gardens is a zoo, museum and elaborate garden all wrapped into one. Visit the 9000 plus acres at Brookgreen gardens and be treated to mix of sandy ridges, salt marshes, fresh tidal swamps, and forested swamps.

About Craig and/or Charlotte

We are a recently retired couple that thoroughly enjoys travel. Because of this, we have learned to value what's available in the place we stay. So we hope that we have provided an excellent accommodation for you. If we have missed the boat on anything, please, please let us know what we can do better to make your stay more enjoyable. We love Garden City and had travelled here for nearly 20 years before we were able to acquire this quaint get-away. We have 5 sons and GC was the summer hotspot as we made the 15 hr trip in our little Plymouth Horizon. Now, our 14 grandchildren enjoy visiting us at our unit. We hope that you and your family enjoy our get-away as much as we have.

We love the inlet view. It's away from the business of the beach front and yet just a couple minutes walk. It's so peaceful and we love watching the birds in the morning with our coffee on the balcony.

The condo was in a great location: Garden City is close to Myrtle Beach but much nicer,the beach is beautiful, and it is right next to Murrel's Inlet, which is great for restaurants, buying seafood, bars, and dock, fishing center, also Huntington Beach State Park and Brookgreen Gardens which I love. The condo was very well maintained, nothing fancy, but with everything you need, plus a gorgeous marsh view from the balcony. The owners were very personable, caring, and attentive,a very nice feeling when you are renting.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers

Sorry it's been so long to get back to you. Reggie and I enjoyed our month long vacation at your condo. Although the weather wasn't the greatest, we did get to play several rounds of golf. Your description of your condo was right on. We found it to be comfortable and suited our needs perfectly. The staff at the inn was very helpful and pleasant during our stay.

Fishing for Mullet

Thank you very much. You may be interested to learn how to catch a big cooler full of mullet from the dock. There was a couple staying there from Ohio, they had been fishing since I got there and not catching anything. When I came back, the lady had a shrimp net and was pulling them in all day and night, when she finished the cooler was overflowing. It WAS a very restful weekend and I hated to see it end. Hope I can do it again sometime soon.

It was quite comfortable and very convenient for doing what we needed to do in Murrells Inlet.........now that we don't live there after 50 years!
