A great Savannah Vacation Rental!! The 1869 original Carriage House is free standing with its own private entrance off the lane plus the highly coveted garage parking. The unusual design is evocative of a “Manhattan loft” set in a historic 1869 carriage house. This surprise blending of original 1920 - 1940 deco furnishings and many antique elements creates a fun, casual ambiance. The open and airy large living space showcases an entire wall of frosted artist windows, thus flooding the house with natural light. Many of the antique pieces in the carriage house were reworked to provide one-of-a-kind creations, such as the rewired antique chandelier that was found in an old barn in a neighboring county that originally only housed candles. The dining table was fashioned out of an 1860’s base and a 1910 Georgia farm house table top. Your window view of the courtyard and the sound of the fountain add a calming touch to the carriage house.

Accommodations were great - roomy, clean, welcoming, and convenient to Savannah's attractions. We'll never stay in a hotel again! Arrangements easy, owners a pleasure to work with.
