We have completely renovated a lovely 1,000-square-foot ranch style house just for you! Now everything awaits you-- new kitchen, bathroom, appliances, new paint inside and out, refinished hardwood floors, new mattresses, linens and dishes...the works! There is air conditioning in the dining/family room. Johns Landing Retreat offers something for everyone: We are two blocks from Willamette Park. You can walk or bike along the river to downtown Portland while enjoying the Willamette River. There are cafes and restaurants that range from fine French cuisine to sandwich shops within walking distance. We are a five minute drive from downtown Portland, the I-5 freeway, OHSU, Lewis and Clark, and OMSI. We are two blocks from one of Portland's premier indoor rock climbing gyms, a Bikram yoga studio, and walking distance to day spas, hair salons and sports clubs. Our single level home is family friendly.

This house was great! The photos provided on the site are completely accurate. We found this house to be very clean, cozy and true to the provided description. The house has recently been updated so it seems new and fresh. We traveled as a family of four including a 4 year-old and a 6 month-old. Having a full kitchen and washer/dryer to use during our vacation really made our trip so much more relaxed. It happened to be over 100 degrees everyday we were in Portland (freakish weather) and Jana went above and beyond to make our stay cool and comfortable! The location is ideal - close to down town and local attractions; right off of I-5 but also close to a road with public transportation so very convenient! We plan on returning to the area as we now have family nearby and will try to stay at this house every time! I would recommend this house to anyone I knew traveling to the area. Jana was extremely nice and very interesting to talk to - I wish we had had more time to meet Peter and the kids, but hopefully next time! Do rent this house - you will love it too! Thanks for a great stay Jana!
