Sun Valley Vacation Rental house

We are from San Diego and know the owners personally. We feel most fortunate that we have arranged to rent this wonderful Sun Valley home for at least a week each summer for the past six years. The home has every amenity a discriminating traveler could want and is conveniently located between the resort town of Ketchum and the world famous Sun Valley Lodge. When we visit in the summer, my family is always on the go… we enjoy hiking Mt. Baldy as well as numerous other trails in the surrounding mountain ranges or water sports at Redfish Lake (45 minutes to the north). Though not a golfer, the home is located within a mile of two wonderful and challenging courses. Surrounding creeks and rivers have trout aplenty to capture the desires of anglers from around the world. The city of Ketchum (again less than a mile away) offers top-flight dining and entertainment.

The home provides a magnificent sanctuary upon return from an active day. The furnishings are extremely comfortable. The kitchen is fully-equipped to meet the demands of a Gourmet/Gourmand. The entertainment and sound system are state of the art. The home itself is nestled in a mountain meadow with lavender lupines and daisies. The home’s expansive outdoor decks provide panoramic views of Mt. Baldy, the jagged Sawtooth Mountains and create a spectacular environment for outdoor dining. Bedtime is also a special treat as you supine on a luxurious mattress adorned by decadent linens. Unfortunately, it is impossible for me to totally abandon work while on vacation. With a multi-line phone system, fax machine, two printers, strong cellular signals and internet connectivity throughout the home, my productivity does not wane even being 1000 miles from the Office.
