This beautiful Beachhouse newly remodeled as of August 2009 is open for business, come down for Mardi Gras or a quiet family getaway anytime of the year. It’s conveniently located, 1 block from the beach and well equipped with all the amenities of home. It has a Beach view and you can listen to the sounds of the ocean, making you relaxed and letting you know you’re on vacation. Have fun on the beach or visit one of Galveston’s many attractions, Schliterban and Moody Gardens (Aquarium) for the kids. And for the history buffs there is an Air and Railroad Museum, or just walk along the historic Strand and browse in one of the many gift shops or indulge in the fine restaurants. We offer clean quality linens and comforters, dishwasher, toaster and blender for those mixed drinks. Cable TV in every room. DVD Player. Free wireless on site. Wrap around deck for lounging. Grate place to stay!

We had a great time, would definitely stay again. The deck was big enough where we could lounge outside. Place had nice sheets and comforters. If you want to fish and hang out it’s a good place to go theres a big bait shop ¾ mile down the road. The owners sent us a travel list of stuff to bring, it helped us out. Place is spacious, I’ll be back next year.

I would highly recommend this rental property for the following reasons. We visited this house for Labor Day weekend and found (1) the owner super pleasant to work with and professional; (2) the property super-cute, tastefully decorated and fitting for a beachhouse, and as neat as the pictures tell (it's literally THE cutest house on its block). The location of this particular rental is superb with the front of the house facing the beach (3rd row of houses - still a view of the beach) and a gas station, small market, and liquor store located just across the road directly behind the house. When visiting, I would plan to bring a few additional towels of your own, blankets and pillows for those on the sleeper sofa. The cable tv (tvs in 3 bedrooms), radio/stereo system, and wireless internet were the amenities we most enjoyed.
