This house was everything the listing described and more. You really don't get the full impact of this house from the pictures. Although the pictures on the website are very helpful and do capture the essence of the house, there were rooms not shown that really do add to why this house is so nice. (3rd bedroom and the bathrooms and closets).
The lay out of the house is great. All the rooms are very large and the flow from one room to the other is perfect. Very open house. There are 3 bedrooms in this house. One downstairs and two upstairs. The Master is upstairs and the 3rd bedroom is upstairs. It has 3 twin beds in it. The Master has a huge deck off of it, with very nice deck furniture. I spend a lot of time out there. There are 2 full bathrooms, and a shower outside so you can rinse off the sand after a day at the beach.
The house has central air conditioning which I don't believe was listed. The kitchen is well equipped. Microwave, coffeemaker, blender, dishwasher. Plates, glasses, silverware.. everything you need for daily use. There is a washer and drier in the kitchen too. There is a pool table in the sunroom and a nice TV.
There is an outdoor patio with a table and chairs and a very nice grill. . A Super Stop and Shop grocery store is fairly close to the house. It has everything!
This house is very well maintained. All the appliances work. The furniture isn't fancy but very nice, and comfortable and in good condition.
The house was very clean when we arrived. There were sheets sitting on all the beds. (This way you know they are clean.) We actually brought our own because I knew we wouldn't have time to wash all the sheets before we left.
There is wifi. This was very important to us.
The owners were fantastic people to deal with. Whenever I had a question and called or e-mailed they responded very quickly. We were at the Cape because my daughter was getting married there. A day before the wedding I received an e-mail from them wishing her well and their hopes that everything goes smoothly on her wedding day. So very thoughtful !
I would recommend this house to anyone, in fact I have.
The Cape is a great place to vacation. Love Chatham. Nice beaches. Many nearby towns to explore. Great restaurants and little shops.
If I were to return to Chatham I certainly would rent this house again.
