Photos and Description of the Ticonderoga vacation chalet rental 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, sleeps 7

This is a new Chalet, just completed in May of 2007. The floor plan consists of two bedrooms, one bath with Jacuzzi tub, kitchen (maple cabinets with a quartz counter top), and a great room open to the second floor. The second floor consists of a master bedroom with a walk in closet, a bath with a 5' tiled shower, and a loft. There is a washer and dryer in the pantry and linen closets in the bathrooms. There is a wraparound deck in front and a dock for a boat. The house is on an acre and has 265' of direct shore front on a quiet bay of Lake George, zoned for five mph boat traffic for about a mile north of the home. Great fishing, kayaking, and canoeing, but not sandy swimming. There is a free State boat launch across the bay, about a two mile drive. The bay is shallow about 3.5' at the end of the dock, deepest point in the bay is around 15'. Quiet and peaceful.

We stayed there from Aug. 17-20. It was very short time, but we had a great time. When we were looking for vacation rentals, we needed to find ones that have daily rate. This new chalet is one of the best we found.

It was built in 2007, but it's still like brand-new. We are Japanese. We take our shoes off when entering home. Because everything was very clean, we didn't have to worry about it.

There is walmart as mentioned above. There is also boat rental right across the lake. We had one-day rental and enjoyed it a lot. Water is not so clean in front of the chalet, but if you go south of the lake you can swim.

We did not have a chance to see the owners, but they were pretty nice when we e-mailed and called.

Thanks and I hope that other people enjoy it.

Absolutely beautiful. The house is located in an alcove of the lake and offers a great view across the lake with a backdrop of the mounatins. You can get up early to watch the sun rise over the mountain and head over to the Ticonderoga Country Club (<2 mi) and play a round of 18 on a beautiful green course.

Inside, the house provides many amentities and odds and ends, especially in the kitchen. A grill, picnic table, and fire pit provide an awesome site for a get together with friends or family. If you forget something, there's a Wal-Mart only 2.5 miles away!

Its quiet, serene, and georgeous. Private but within a drive of anything you may need. A+ quality and comes with my highest reccommendation.
