Great Harbour Cay:
The entire east coast of Great Harbour Cay is fringed by miles of beautiful powdery white sand beaches. Whether you want to relax in calm, shallow waters or feel the energy of large ocean swells curling along the shore, you can always find the perfect beach to suit your mood. Spend an afternoon at Lover’s Beach to watch the clouds change color as the sun travels across the sky. Take a serene bike ride to Sugar Beach Caves for a day of snorkeling and exploring. Or just relax on a beach chair sipping your favorite drink. Don’t miss a day trip to Flo's Conch Bar for fresh sea food and visit the 'Blue Hole' at Hoffman Cay on your way back. There are several uninhabited cays (pronounced 'keys'), south of Great Harbour Cay, which are perfect for a picnic or to spend a day in total seclusion.
Dining:
A few restaurants on the island offer local and international fare. For ambiance and great Piña Coladas, try the Rocky Hill bar and restaurant behind the marina. Cooly Mae’s, in Bullocks Harbour, serves excellent local food and for dessert try the famous “Guava Duff”, it is delicious. The Beach Club, down the beach from the house, is also a great place for breakfast and lunch.
Marina:
Great Harbour Cay has one of the best marinas in the Northern Bahamas. High cliffs protect the harbor area from almost all inclement weather. Please contact the harbor master for boat/slip rental.
