This beautiful condo is centrally located in Midtown Manhattan in a fully-renovated (2007) pre-war, high-end building.

Close to Herald Square, Bryant Park, Madison Square Park, The Morgan Library (around the corner from the building), the Flat Iron Building, the Public Library, Times Square. 18 blocks to Union Square (via 5th avenue) and 20 blocks away from the southern end of Central Park.

The building has a 24-hour concierge and a private elevator entrance into the unit. The condo has been meticulously decorated. A washer and dryer are in the unit and available to guests.

This is a non-smoking condo.

I’m somewhat reluctant to write this review, but I’m reluctant only because I fear that if I divulge how truly wonderful this place is it may not be available the next time I want to use it ........ and there will be a next time. Stated simply, the apartment is perfect. It is spacious and clean and nicely furnished, with an excellent (modern) kitchen and (high-end) bathroom. The appliances and cabinetry are top of the line, and the unit—on the eighth floor—is remarkably quiet given its location in the heart of midtown. The unit is very close to Herald Square, where you catch the subway, as well as many restaurants, bars, and convenience stores. I say you can’t go wrong with this one!

Can't express in words how truly wonderful the apt is " location, facilties, cleanliness" are fabulous. Great neighborhood,with restaurants and bars nearby.
Doorman security and friendliness was a real plus.Roof top deck is a rarity and wonderful accent.
The apt has all necessayr comforts. Was like being at home. Roomy for the three of us.
Tom, the owner, was a delight to do business with over the telephone and internet. Everything was as advertised.
We hope to stay agian!!

Best kept secret in New York

This condo is the perfect place to stay in NY. Location couldn´t be better, just 1 block away from Empire State Building, very centrally located. Apartment is big, very beautiful and clean. Bedroom is very nice. Bathroom is big and comfortable (separated shower and hot tub). Kitchen is modern and completely equiped. Living room with sofa-bed and tv. The elevator opens in the living room, which is great. We would definitely stay here again. This is great

Greatly exceeded our already high expectations. The apartment is at least as nice as is stated in other reviews. The attitude and flexibility of the owners is, in my experience, unsurpassed. The location is a great place from which to stage forays in any direction. Big, fun views from the rooftop deck. We have been frequent visitors to NYC through the years and this experience was top shelf.
By the way, the little moroccan restaurant next door is quite good.

10. Super high shower head - I didn’t think this was a big deal until my 6’4” husband exclaimed - every morn - the joy of not having to bend over to wash his hair.

9. Perusing Bacon and then viewing Bacon - They have a great Francis Bacon coffee table book. After brushing up on our appreciation of this guy, we headed to MoMA and saw a few Bacons. We felt very Manhattan.

8. Great landlords - Steve and Tom have the VRBO logistics down and the whole thing was a snap.

7. Fancy kitchen - Loved the espresso machine and the oven with grilling feature.

6. Threat count galore - Great big Princess and the Pea bed. So comfy.

5. Mini Midtown Movie Collection - Breakfast at Tiffany’s better than ever, An Affair to Remember runner-up. Watch it and then walk it.

4. Private elevator - Always fun to see your spouse get off the elevator and walk into the dining room in one fell swoop.

3. The view of the Empire State Building - At night it’s fun to count the camera flashes on the observatory deck.

2. Our own rooftop view - It’s amazing to inspect fairly close-up all the ornate touches of the buildings at 13-plus floors.

1. The Ginger Man - Leave the building and walk west five steps. You’ll enter a bar with so many great beers - DRIPA, IPA, doubles and stouts and lambics oh my. Bud Light and Amstel Light not served here.
