Photos and Description of the Carpinteria vacation house rental 3 bed , 2 bath , sleeps 6 with 2 queen beds, 2 twin beds, ( 8 with 2 foam mats)

This 1920 Beach Bungalow is centrally located to downtown dining and shopping. The community pool, tennis courts and the Carpinteria State Beach Park are all within walking distance of a few blocks (just 1 1/2 blocks to beach). Listen for the surf breaking when the swell is up. Enjoy beautiful mountain and sunset views from the front porch. This Bungalow has the charm of an older home with wood floors and tile counters and is well cared for. You can spend a week here without once needing to drive anywhere. All your needs are provided for just 3 blocks from the house. The schoolyard across the street is perfect for the kids or a place to play with your dog. When it's time for the beach we have provided 2 surfboards and 2 boogie boards with towels and beach chairs for your use. Surf lessons can be arranged too. Carpinteria is one of the last remaining small California beach towns and is known for it's relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Carpinteria is one of the last small towns along coastal California. Our house is located within easy walking distance of the beach, community pool and tennis courts, playground, stores and restaurants. You could spent a week here and not have to drive at all. If you do want to explore further into Santa Barbara then it is only 15 to 20 minutes north on the freeway.

If you do want to explore further, beautiful Santa Barbara is only 15 minutes up the road and offers many options from museums, whale watching, harbor sight seeing, shopping, movies and excellent restaurants. The Santa Barbara Mission, the County Court House, and Lotus Land Botanical Gardens are some of the top destinations. Musical concerts at the County Bowl or local clubs like SoHo offer many choices too.
