Enjoy the best that the White Mountains have to offer in this luxurious log home built as close to the National Forest as the law allows. Walk to the hiking trails, or cheat and drive the famous Auto Road to the scenic vista atop Mount Washington... just minutes away from your door.

The kids will love Storyland, Santa's Village, Six-Gun City, and the Attitash mountain slide and waterslides. Or just take them to one of the dozens of great natural swimming holes along the Swift and Saco rivers. With an inner tube, one can travel all the way to North Conway! There is also boating and rafting, with guided trips just a short drive away.

If it's civilization you crave, a 20 minute drive will bring you to North Conway, with its' legendary shopping, spas and restaurants. And some of the most scenic golf you will find anywhere is right here, with championship courses to the north, south, east, and west.

When the weather turns, skiers and snowboarders can take advantage of the most continuous vertical in the East at Wildcat Mountain, just 10 minutes away. Crowds? Forget it. Unlike most mountains in the East, Wildcat has no slopeside lodging. With acres of terrain and the fastest quad in the state, lift lines never get longer than 10 minutes. Factor in the reliable snow and great apres-ski at the mountain or in nearby Jackson, and you will agree... this is the very best of New England skiing.

This house is absolutely beautiful andthe beds are sooo comfortable!! Love the master bath and the upstairs master bath! Wish there was some sort of central air...it got a little hot while we were there, that or a pool!
The fire place outdoors is very nice and the stereo/sound system is amazing!! Also very nice that it has a wii and movies already there.
The place was a little hard to find, becuase its not on mapquest, but once you get close, its easy enough to figure out. Very clean and well kept. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to others!

Fall family vacation

My family of (9) stayed in this beautiful vacation home during the peak of the fall foliage in 2009. This home has everything you would need to have a wonderful vacation. I would strongly recommend staying here if you are debating where to stay. The owners are great to work with and the home was just beyond. The home is centally located for many sightseeing and winter sports. The home is so modernized it was great. Happy vacationing to someone checking out where to stay. We are very glad for the great vacation memories that we received. I don't know how we could even top this vacation next year.
