My wife Ann & I spent the weeks before Christmas in your condo. We must say we were totally surprised on the upside.
Although the ocean view is angled between Diamond Head and the ocean, it feels like a full ocean front view.with the windows sliding out of the way, it is like living on a lanai. With so much to see on the ocean, from watching surfers and kayakers , sailboats and ocean going vessels and cruise ships, we were glad to have brought good binoculars.
At 900 sq feet the condo is larger than most, but mostly suitable for 2 adults, since it has no separate bed room. With marble floors throughout, large and well-supplied kitchen, spacious bathroom and wonderful king sized bed, a wonderful condo. Wi-Fi works great and having a flat screen TV on cable, plus a DVD , made evenings very enjoyable.
The Otani Hotel, 2 buildings away, has a marvelous terrace with excellent food, but priced much better at lunch.
Shops and the busy part of Waikiki are a short 15-20 minute walk away.
If you play tennis, bring your racket. I played tennis daily on the 4 public courts, less than 5 minutes toward town. Just sit down, say Hello, and within a few minutes they will ask you to play. I cannot say too many good things about this marvelous bunch of tennis players. Locals, tourists and seasonal residents, including a bunch of good women players, will make you feel welcome.
Our communications with the owners, Kristi and Wes, was good and clear, with very thorough instructions.
There is no question that we would recommend this condo to our friends and would also be our first choice on any return trip
