Amenities for your comfort include a TV with VCR/DVD player and Sega Genesis. You'll have a fully equipped kitchen including trash bags, paper towels, salt & pepper and a few other condiments, dish detergent, bath tissues, shampoo, hair dryer, VCR/DVD a few movies, etc., boombox with CDs, Sega Genesis and games, and even wildlife food to feed the squirrels out back, all small appliances and cleaning necessities, a gas grill on the 28' deck and a picnic table.
Wouldn't be complete without a couple of rockers, too. There is a genuine Jacuzzi tub for two in the bedroom area, and everything is strategically positioned so as to enjoy from anywhere you are such as seeing the TV from the king bed, the fireplace from the Jacuzzi, and the wonders of nature outside, etc. Ceramic tile and ceiling fans complete this beauty. Free swimming pool privileges at Laurel Valley Golf and Country Club for our guests.
Just bring your food and your honey cause the rest awaits you...right on down to the candles and bubble bath! We've added an outdoor fire ring and wood for you to reminisce by the fire and roast a marshmallow or two... now what do you thing about that!
Activities & Attractions:
Bring your pole for that 'fisherman's dream'... the Tennessee Little River, which you can marvel at from your private deck at 'Refuge.' As you are enjoying the serenity of nature, you can gaze across the river and see the occasional hazy 'smoke' boiling over the mountaintops, which gives the majestic Smokies their name. Townsend has a three-mile bike trail, a fly fishing school, occasional bluegrass/molasses festivals, gorgeous mountain golf greens with free swimming pool access, nice dining, hiking trails, horseback riding, gobs of tubing opportunities, and is within seven miles of historic Cades Cove. New to the area is the Great Smoky Mountain Heritage Center. Just ask and I'll even see that you get free tickets to view the very popular museum! All that and you're only 18 miles from Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, Gatlinburg, Ober Gatlinburg skiing, music theaters, outlet malls, and activities of all sorts.
