An incredibly charming and completely renovated home just 2 blocks to the ocean beach and boardwalk. Central air plus breezy wraparound open porch and screened porch. Wicker furniture outdoors for dining and relaxation.

Colorful Jersey shore awnings. Very airy open floor plan with vaulted ceilings and many skylights. Tastefully decorated, new wood floors throughout and newly updated kitchen with washer/dryer, dishwasher, gas range. 2 driveways for off-street parking plus garage. Outdoor shower, patio with gas BBQ, lush lawn, beautiful landscaping and large sycamore shade trees, a perfect vacation home for the entire family.

The house has 3 full bedrooms plus a master dressing room (or office) upstairs, balcony off the master bedroom and a full bath. From the upstairs balcony, you can view both Lake Como and the ocean. Downstairs 2 bedrooms and a full bath on first floor for easy access. Large gas-fired stone fireplace in living room, beamed ceiling, custom hanging staircase and recessed lights throughout. All this is in a quiet family neighborhood with friendly neighbors.

About The Owner

I'm retired and I live in Vero Beach, Florida 6 months a year and Belmar, New Jersey the other 6 months. We built a house on the Ocean and three blocks away is my family home that I don't want to sell but want to rent out to people who will enjoy it but take good care of it.

The Owner purchased this house in 1997
Why The Owner chose Belmar

This is a home that has been in my family since 1944. I spent all my summers growing up there, my parents spent their retirement years there and my children and now grandchildren spend time there. My husband and I decided to completely renovate the home in 1997 while at the same time maintaining the integrity of the style and charm of our home.

What makes this house unique

Being less than 3 blocks from the beach and two blocks from the lake. Having two lovely porches, one screened in for meals and entertaining. Having two driveways so there is never a parking problem. The property is one hour outside of Manhattan with many ways to get there: car, train, boat. Belmar has great beaches, boardwalk, restaurants, marina, minigolf......it's all here.

We Love This Cottage

My husband and pets spent the winter of 2012-13 in this adorable home. It was close to movies, restaurants, stores and the ocean. The neighbors were sweethearts and we had a great time. The owners could not be nicer or more helpful. We would recommend this home to everyone.

Perfection!

My family and I just returned from spending a week at this wonderful beach house. The house is updated and clean, and in a perfect location. We walked almost everywhere, even with two small children. The screen in porch was a great place to relax in the evening once the kids were in bed. The owners are great to deal with, and when there was a small leak in the kitchen they had someone there to fix it immediately. I would definitely recommend this beautiful home to rent.

We stayed in this house over the Christmas holidays while visiting friends and family in the area. I was pleasantly surprised that the house looked just like the photos, very modern inside and had a large fireplace in the grand room that was perfect for the winter. It was obviously designed as a beach cottage and we now plan to come back in the summer when we can use the beach down the street, the proches and outdoor shower. The house has skylights in every room and is very light inside...The owners were great and helped me with starting the fireplace, arranged for snow shoveling and recommended some great local restaurants.This one's a winner

Great Beach House

"We stayed in this charming home for a full month with our 2 young children and dog and really enjoyed the open floor plan, front yard with its lush lawn and convenience. The house has been fully remodeled as advertised, the kitchen very new and was spotless. It has a great cozy fireplace for chilly evenings and a sunny/breezy screened porch. We walked to the beach every day, a very short walk, and to the lake down the street. The owner was very accomodating, pleasant to deal with and helped us with things for the kids to do in Belmar. We hope to come back again this fall."

Owner's Response: We're really delighted when young families with children rent our home... we've had several generations of our family spend summers there and its very nostalgic. We've made even more improvements since the photos were taken: new corian kitchen counters, new ceramic tile kitchen floor, new garage door, new outdoor shower enclosure.... We try to keep the house very up-to-date.
