Built in 1962, Casa Michelotti is the perfect combination of Old Tahoe Charm and modern convenience. It is located a half block from Lake Tahoe's beautiful West Shore.
The Great Room has plenty of seating, where you will enjoy views of towering pine, fir, and cedar trees outside, and a large stone fireplace inside.
The dining area has a beautiful antique oak table that can be opened to comfortably accommodate up to 14 people.
There is additional seating at the counter in the kitchen, where you will find all of the conveniences of home, including a dishwasher, microwave, and everything necessary to prepare meals.
Our parents built their dream getaway in 1962 after years of vacationing at the Lake. Now my sister & I have grandchildren of our own and love spending time here with them.
Casa Michelotti has been the site of many family reunions, birthday parties, rehearsal dinners, bachelorette parties, retreats, & other wonderful holiday celebrations.
Some of our best times have been sitting around the dining room table, eating dinner barbecued on the deck, with the fire burning in the large stone fireplace. This is a perfect house to be shared with a group. It is a place where many memories have been made.
We absolutely love The Homewood Cabin, it is our home away from home! There is plenty of room for several families in this charming cabin. Nice open kitchen/living area for gathering. Rooms are separated on each side of the cabin to allow for more personal space. Close walk to the lake, short drive to town. Deck is beautiful, BBQ is provided and kitchen is stocked with cooking supplies!
We have so many wonderful memories at this cabin, great cabin to stay at while visiting the Tahoe City area. THank you!
This home truly exudes the Lake Tahoe cabin experience. From the amazing stone fireplace to the short steps to the water front, we truly enjoyed everything there was to offer. There is room aplenty for several families to enjoy, plenty of games for all ages, a fully stocked kitchen and beautiful front deck complete with BBQ. While we were hoping for a ski retreat, the snow was bleak, however the weather was beautiful, we enjoyed a walk around to the lake, drove to Emerald Bay and hiked down, enjoyed what little snow there was at Homewood Resort, dined at Sunnyside. This home's location is ideal to West Shore activities and close to Tahoe City. The owner's were a pleasure to work with, communicative and quick response time. We can't wait to come back. Thank you!
