The 'Sail Loft' is a newly renovated waterfront, 2 bedroom studio apartment above a detached shingled garage, located on a 2 acre property with magnificent views of Penobscot Bay. The waterfront is easily accessible by a private set of stairs directly behind the dwelling. The beach is sandy/ rocky, walkable, perfect for loon watching, beach combing, kayaking and swimming. The property is sufficiently off a country road that privacy and tranquility are assured. Finishing off the setting are the surrounding, naturalized gardens. My house, (where I live with Dinah, my golden retriever) is on the property approx. 100 feet from the garage. The apartment is tastefully decorated and fully furnished with lots of windows and an open floor plan to make the most of the beautiful views. A large 30 foot deck runs the entire length of the apt. and overlooks the bay.

Take the 'road less traveled to the historic summer colony of Bayside, Maine which hugs the western shore of Penobscot Bay, conveniently located off US 1 between the beautiful town of Camden and artsy town of Belfast. This unique community is composed of about 300 Victorian cottages and classic Maine waterfront homes with it's own 9 hole golf course and dock for swimming, boating and fishing. Favorite activity is to walk the beautiful stretch of road with friends and family.
