Located in the Barrio Norte neighborhood—considered to be one of the most elegant and upscale areas of Buenos Aires — this modern bright loft apartment is conveniently located on Charcas, a tree-lined boulevard with shopping and many cafes and restaurants right outside the front door. The apartment is newly equipped and furnished.
It has 2 floors. on the lower floor the kitchen is fully equipped, and the living/dining room has a couch, arm chair, and dining table and chairs. It has a big balcony with street view facing the Boulevard. The upper floor has the bedroom with a queen size bed and an office.
The property has one full bathroom (with shower and bathtub), and a powder room downstairs. The apartment features wireless internet access and a VOIP phone with a North American phone number. There is air conditioning and heating throughout.
The location can't be beat with a grocery store, ATM machines/banks, pharmacy, fresh fruit store, restaurants, clubs and cafes right outside the building. There is a bakery below in front of the building that has excellent sandwiches and pastries.

We fell in love with BA in 2003 and came back in 2004 to see if we could live there. We researched the neighborhoods we liked and happily settled on Barrio Norte in Palermo. We have been very happy with this area and all of its amenities.
Located on a quiet boulevard the apartment has restaurants, shops, bakeries, and clubs all within a few minutes. The subway is close by that links you to downtown and it is a great area for walking to many other areas such as Recoleta, Palermo Soho, Palermo Viejo and Abasto.
Sandy's apartment is situated in an ideal location to be able to walk and/or utilize the subway all throughout the immediate Buenos Aires area. His manager, Marina, was on sight when we checked in and was always available for any questions/concerns. As an aside, if you are interested in the fine dining scene in BA (which is truly booming), we would strongly suggest consulting Nicholas Gill's article in the WSJ on October 4-5, 2014 - WOW, you just can't go wrong with his recommendations.
From the minute we contacted Sandy my wife and I knew we were in good hands. He provided a robust primer on attractions nearby his place in Palermo and continued to help if I had any questions or concerns. His apartment was clean, convenient and nicely laid out.
From my many excursions I believe that Palermo is the idea quarter to settle in when visiting Buenos Aires. It may not be the most pristine but it has a huge amount of soul. Sandy's place is a perfect scale for living in - a comfy sofa for evening reading - if you are willing to squander an evening instead of taking in the myriad attractions BA has to offer. A great bed, two bathrooms and a practical kitchen. It is across the street from Cafe Martin whose coffee rivals the best in Italy - my benchmark for coffee in the globe.
In particular Cafe Vinilo was a treasure - 10 munutes up the road. Go. Go more that once. We saw an amazing show on a Tuesday and then a Millonga on a Monday. Both fantastic - reason enough to return to BA time and again. And Marina, his support in BA is fantastic, helpful, cheery and very personable. BA is a bit of a shock at first. But get past your prejudices. The graffiti is actually pretty amazing and the sidewalks are excellent for developing agility skills. Dining, museum-going and in particular, music are magical here.
This was our first experience of renting a condo ever as tourists. And what a nice experience it turned out to be! I chose this place based upon reading so many positive reviews and found that my fellow renters were absolutely correct what they wrote about interaction with Sandy and staying in his place. The place is fabulous. The design provides two separate spacious areas for sleeping and living with washroom facilities on both levels. This feature itself makes you feel very comfortable. It is tastefully decorated and the host has ensured that every conceivable thing required by someone away from home is available. The location in Palermo could not be better for enjoying dining, shopping and sights of BA. Sandy and his local representative, Marina are only a click of e-mail away to give you support. My wife and I arrived on the start of a four day long holiday weekend in BA with all local businesses closed and no local currency with us. Marina, who receives you when you arrive, went out of her way to help us out. I can go on and on. Thank you Sandy and Marina, we hope to see you soon.
What a nice apartment to settle into after a 10 hour flight! This bright, airy apartment supplied all that we needed for a three week experience. The photos show it accurately. The apartment is surrounded with grocery stores, wine stores, produce stores, and restaurants galore, as well as all kinds of other shops. We could walk to all the Palermo and Recoleta green spaces, even as far as Recoleta cemetery, and the Subte and buses are convenient on Santa Fe. Sandy was exceptionally helpful from the time we booked to when we departed the apartment; I grew to count on his reply within the hour. Marina, his BA manager, was wonderful! Her replies were also immediate. As promised, she was waiting when our taxi from the airport arrived at the apartment. Definitely one of our best VRBO experiences!

We rented this loft for a week and had a marvelous time. Everything was as pictured in the photograph. Marina was very helpful, going out of her way to make our stay pleasant.
Kitchen, bathrooms, wi fi and cable tv worked fine. Whta I liked the most is the location. Having previously lived in Buenos Aires for a couple of years, I really appreciated the comfort of having the subway two blocks away, as well as the Alto Palermo mall and two super markets just a few more blocks farther. Charcas boulevard has a nice vibe, and is as quiet as one can expect on this part of Palermo (no buses run on that street)
I´ll definately come back on my next visit.
There are great restaurants and shops plus a number of Tango Clubs and other Music Clubs in the neighbourhood.
