2 bedrooms,1 bath, sleeps four, 900 sq ft

Nestled off the street, this cozy cottage offers a true retreat feel, with being downtown. Five minutes to the beach & ten blocks to downtown, you can walk or bus anywhere. Spacious accommodation with luxurious bedding and an all new kitchen and bath make for a pristine experience with all the comforts of home.

Additionally there is a private outdoor area for 'fresco' dining and barbecuing or just taking in the sun. The living room boasts plenty of comfortable seating as well as a 40' large screen HDTV and wireless Internet. A gas fireplace to provide a wonderful ambiance. The 900 sq ft make this the perfect size for a group of four or a romantic retreat for a couple. Two bedrooms both have queen beds complete with luxury bedding and down comforters.

Set in its own garden setting this private cottage has off-street parking and its own private fenced yard. Relax under the flowering trees and take in the wonderful California weather.

For our weekly guests: For the more adventurous, use of two beach cruiser bicycles are provided for an arranged three hour period during your stay, ($60 value) -only minutes to downtown & the beach, you will have a great time exploring on these bicycles.

Santa Barbara is a beach community with beaches, pier, sailing, swimming, whale watching and a vibrant cultural life of theatre, events, museums and a beautiful small zoo. It is unique because there are also close mountains that offer hiking, wine tasting and a nearby lake for fishing. Known as the 'American Riviera', it is known for its Spanish architecture, and the beauty of the landscape. The semi tropical climate has led many to say it is similar in appearance to Hawaii with so many varieties of trees and vegetation that are spectacular. Fine dining options abound as well as a vibrant downtown with great shopping. There are even islands close by that are protected sanctuaries that make a great day trip. Santa Barbara is the perfect vacation destination!

Comfortable Beds

We loved your place! It was quiet, clean, the beds were comfortable, and it was a perfect size for the four of us. It was an easy drive to State Street, the beach, and other places of interest. We would be happy to stay there again. The place is great. Thanks again!

Better Than A High Quality Hotel

A lovely little cottage in a convenient location. Fully equipped with everything you need in a vacation home and more! Lots of thoughtful touches like good supply of towels, hair drier, soaps, coffee beans and 2 coffee makers. Better than a high quality hotel. Lots of helpful information provided by Wendy. I recommend this cottage to anyone looking for an oasis in Santa Barbara.

Perfectly maintained, perfectly furnished with anything one could need to cook a meal, to sit outside in the garden patio area with a glass of wine and cheese, and a perfect ambience for a family to become re-acquainted after many years, to enjoy each others company for a life event such as my nieces graduation from UCSB! All my family could say to me for finding your vacation home retreat was "this home is just Perfect"! I can never express enough of our appreciation except that when we come to Santa Barbara for another stay...we will be back to stay in your Cottage!

Perfect place for a relaxing stay!

My friend and I stayed for 3 days over a recent holiday weekend. I loved having a place to come home to. Wendy gets every last detail taken care of so all you have to do is relax! Another great thing is that it's a short walk to McConnell's.
