Master Bedroom Suite with spa tub and steam shower, all over looking the bay. 2nd Bedroom, New Queen bed with sliding glass doors to a large deck over looking the bay. 3rd Bedroom, 2 twin beds with quiet Street views. 4th Bedroom, New Queen bed, ground floor with 3rd bath adjacent to great room and kitchen, great for elderly and handicapped. Additional room, game room with stereo, TV, Wii Sports and game tables. The kitchen is perfect for entertaining...open to the great room , breakfast nook and main deck with 4 different eating areas. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and has a JennAir gas range. Lush native vegetation provides a private setting for viewing Osprey, Bald Eagles, flocks of geese as they soar at eye level from the decks providing an impressive show 80 feet above the bay. The beach community is quiet, friendly and walkable with narrow streets and private beaches.

  • All baths are roomy, colorful, beautifully decorated with a beachy theme. All have ceramic floors and showers. The master bath is to die for! Very open with spa tub, large 2 person steam shower, 5 ft vanity and toilet all open to a private bay view.

  • 3 bedrooms are upstairs, 2 have views with direct access to the upper deck. The master suite is upscale and outstanding...800 sf. with Cathedral ceilings, ceiling fan, and a 'lighthouse' bump out looking out over the bay from 80 feet up.The master bath has a beautiful, freestanding spa tub, 6'x6' shower for two, large vanity and toilet ...All facing the bay with a view! The downstairs bedroom is large with a new queen mattress and the 3rd bath is across the hall and next to the kitchen.This bedroom and bath are handicap accessible with walkin shower. All queen mattresses are pillow top new or like new...very comfortable beds! Bring your own linens and towels! ( We can supply linens and towels for a small fee upon request).

Notes: Kitchen is equipped with a gas Jenn-Air to grill inside. Large side by side fridge has filtered water and ice maker. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking pots/pans/utensils and large selection of glassware and plates/bowls. Weber charcoal grill is outside on main deck. Main dining table is 7 ft by 42 inches enough to seat 8 comfortably. kitchen has 2 stools at ceramic Island and a breakfast nook with a table for 4. 4th bedroom is on ground level with 1 step up from driveway and front porch...great for elderly and handicapped persons. Kitchen, great room and hall bath are on same level. Hall bath has pocket door and standup shower with easy access.

Community activities: The community of Long Beach has 2 beautiful sandy beaches for use by the residents and renters only. They have very gradual slopes and the waves are small compared to the ocean, making it very safe for children to swim, play and kayak. We also have a very picturesque boat harbor in the middle of our community called Flag Harbor Yacht Haven with about 160 slips. You may bring your own boat and have it launched for the week , possibly rent a transient slip during your stay. You may get lucky and catch a fishing charter or just fish from the beach or jetty. We also have a county owned nature park with beaches and trails adjacent to our community to the south called Flag Ponds Nature Park. Or just sit back on the deck and watch ocean going ships navigate the bay to Baltimore or star gaze in this quiet, peaceful community by the bay.!

Spacious yet charming-all we hoped for and more

We selected this home for our 28th family reunion and were not at all disappointed – everything promised in the posting was there (and more), well maintained, and clean. I can’t imagine what I would have added to make our weekend more comfortable and accommodating – everything we could possibly need or want was right there. The layout of the home and deck is perfect for sitting in groups to talk or play games, or you can spread out and have some solitude to read or just relax. I loved that I could be with my family yet not feel like we were on top of each other all weekend. The kitchen is well equipped and the dining room table is big enough to accommodate seating for a large family.

Our family ranged in age from 27 to 90 and this home suited everyone. The wireless internet access was a must for the 27 year old, the extensive cable channel listings were a must for the sports fans who needed to see the baseball playoffs, hockey and football, and my 90 year old mother actually bowled with the Wii. A short stroll down the street would take you to the beach area and I enjoyed jogging through the quiet neighborhood and surrounding area.

There are restaurants and grocery stores just a short drive away. The owner was attentive, professional yet friendly, and accessible.

I highly recommend this property if you want to feel confident that your vacation will be nothing less than wonderful.
Owner's Response: Thank you for the great review. It's always nice to hear that our house, that we designed and built for our family in 2005, is being enjoyed by other families. We out-grew our home rather quickly when our daughters got married and moved out. We decided to move into a small cottage down the street and make our home into a vacation rental, so that other families can get together and enjoy our little beach community that we have been fortunate to call home since 1990.
We have been in the business for 10 years and still enjoy meeting people from all over the country. Barby puts alot of energy into decorating the interior and exterior of the home...especially during the holidays! She is a Christmas Nut...we plan on putting pictures on the site showing the house during the holidays.
We look forward providing you with a memorable getaway and will gladly share our local knowledge of the Chesapeake Bay area with you during your stay.

Beach is perfect for playing games, camp fires!

Having been to the Jersey shore numerous times, we were looking for a change and this was just the place! The beach was ours alone and perfect for playing games and campfires in the evening. The weather and the house were perfect. The bay view was spectacular and it was fun watching the lightning storms at night. We enjoyed the hike to Calvert Cliffs State Park and ventured to Solomons Island a couple times. But overall we had the best times at the house and on the bay. Thanks for a great time.

Wow - The Perfect Get Away For The Whole Family!

It was our lucky day - our family had decided at the last minute to go ahead and book a vacation this year and we knew we wanted the beach but not something highly commercial - enter Jeff Greene! In searching we came across this property - it was a bit big for our families needs (four + Rocko the Pug) but we did not want to be cramped, the price seemed to be very fair and they by some divine magic had the week we needed - which at the time was a month away... Boy are we glad we did... It is always such a pleasant and rare surprise when you walk into a vacation spot... and it is actually BETTER than described...

Overall this house is fantastic - it is very well appointed with a big kitchen - a breath taking master suite (BTW - make sure you look at the pictures - taking a bath in the tub with the bay view may have been worth the price alone!) two well appointed porches, 4 great bedrooms, game room - obviously you can read the descrition yourself but until you are there you really can't take it in. Everything is clean and comfortable.

We have so many great memories - one of our favorite things was sitting in the breakfast nook and looking at the bay through a powerful telescope - we loved checking out the ships as they passed by - you could actually see the people - our daughter thought this was the best thing in the world! Walking the private, sandy beaches that are just a short walk away - the water was clear and perfect for swimming. We actually found 3 sharks teeth on our trip (thanks to tips from Barby on how to find them!) There many great restaurants in the area and tons of stuff to do and see - it has become our new favorite vacation spot and we will be back!

Overall I can't recommend this property enough - Jeff and Barby were wonderful to work with making sure we had everything we needed and always available if we need anything... Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Enjoy - we sure did!

Great for Three Generations

This spacious vacation home provided a wonderful vacation opportunity for our children, grandchild, and aunt/uncle and nephew. The furnishings and amenities were comfortable and lovely; and the owners were exceptionally responsive to any requests or questions. The location provided a gorgeous panoramic view of the Chesapeake Bay and allowed for convenient access to at least 3 different beaches that are very private. I would highly recommend this property. Jeff, thanks again for a wonderful week in your home.
