Situated below Kit Carson and Challenger Peaks on several very private acres. Resplendent views of the Sangre de Cristo Range to the East and West across the San Luis Valley to the Eastern San Juan Mtn range. Close to the local spiritual centers. Very quiet. Nestled in a Pinon forest.

My husband Steve and I are living with our daughter Julia in Boulder, CO. We love going to Crestone to get away from our busy life in Boulder. We love the quietness, the Crestone community, the Crestone Retreat Centers and in general, the more relaxed life style of the San Luis Valley. We try to spend as much time in Crestone as possible. When we are away from Crestone, we like to open this beautiful, peaceful place to visitors trying to get away from their busy lives.
The Owner purchased this house in 2006
Our Crestone home is very open and light. Especially when you open the three doors it gives you a feeling of living within nature. No neighbors are close by. It is very quiet.
We love Crestone for it's beauty, the Crestone Peaks to the East and the San Luis Valley to the West. There is so much to do around Crestone: hiking, photography, biking, rock climbing, visiting historic sites, hot springs, skiing, just to mention a few.
Returned for a third time. Highly recommended. Very clean house, quiet setting, fantastic views.
Little house in the pines, all the creature comforts, yet maintaining an air of being rustic and simplistic. Peaceful and private location. Great place for couples, families, friends to getaway from it all. Market in town is well stocked. Several main attractions within an hours drive. An excellent base camp or place to regroup. Owners are responsive, friendly and helpful. We (myself and 3 children) thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
This tidy two bedroom house was perfect for our family of four. Highly recommended!
My wife and son and I spent a week in Crestone as a getaway and this was the perfect place for us. Two bedrooms, a well stocked kitchen, BBQ grill, small wood burning fireplace (though the heat works outstanding), linens, and a good location. The house is great and the views are amazing. We had "visitors" ranging from deer to elk to a bobcat while we were there. The locals are all friendly and there is a good little grocery store there. For the money, we couldn't have crammed ourselves in a HI Express for that for the week. (though there isn't one there) Steve and Mia were great to work with. They gave lots of great info, recommendations, and directions to the house and left us contact numbers in case we had any issues. We spent the week hiking, going to the sand dunes, and generally unplugging and taking easy. I highly recommend this house and Steve and Mia.
House was perfect for our family gathering. Roomy and well furnished. Very clean and had gorgeous views both front and back. About 1 hour from Great Sand Dunes and Penetente Canyon, both of which were great. Thanks so much.
