The Footbridge is nestled quietly off of Post Road (Route 1) in Wells. It is a short walk to Wells Harbor, also a working harbor. The Harbor is where most of the festivities are held, concerts, family days, chili contests and playground for children. The harbor also offers sailboat cruises and fishing charters. Craft Fairs are held several times a year and are within walking distance. Amtrak can take you to the great cities of Portland, ME and Boston, MA daily. Sea food restaurants are abundant. Short drive to Walkers Point.

The Footbridge North Resort Condominium is located within walking distance of Wells Harbor and a short trolley ride to Wells Beach. The summer festivals and musical events take place mostly at the Harbor, which is a working harbor as well. The Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge is close by and the Amtrak Downeaster Passenger Train will take you to the great cities of Portland, ME and Boston, MA daily. Wells is also known for its fine seafood restaurants, antiques and craft shows.
