This home is gorgeously situated on 50 acres of Catskills farmland, but is located only one mile from an adorable town with a supermarket, video store, furniture shopping, etc. The owners have two young children, so it's especially well equipped for a family (one bedroom has a crib, the backyard has a swing set, and the kitchen is fully stocked). The house itself is newly renovated in a country modern style (exposed beams, wide plank wood floors, batten board wall coverings) and the kitchen is totally modern----stainless steel appliances and granite counter top. The backyard has a hugely sprawling lawn on two sides, perennial gardens, and a classic hammock setup, strung between two 40 foot pine trees. The trail that circles the property makes for a stunning 20 minute hike. Any season is great here, just depends on your preference. Leaves are great in the fall, summer guest spend virtually no time inside, and winter is a wonderland, perfect for snow shoeing (2 pairs in the house)
