Local Professional Management - A Phone Call Away: We have a professional and dedicated manager who strives to make our home a comfortable and affordable alternative for your Walt Disney World vacation. If our villa is not available for the dates you need, we have other similar high standard homes in the same community available for your consideration. All our homes were custom decorated by the owners and was furnished to a high standard. All bedrooms have linen, towels, hangers, and blankets. You can find extra linen, blankets, and towels in the closets. Laundry facilities (a washer & separate dryer) can be found in the utility area of the villa.
This is the 3rd house I've rented vacationing in Orlando over the years and this one is by far the best. The home has 7 beautiful bedrooms with 5 bathrooms - plenty of space for the 15 of us. The home itself has all the amenities you would need in a home such as the fully stocked kitchen - everything and more you would expect in a home - toaster, coffee maker, big pans, pots, large and small bowls -everything! There was even dish washing detergent and some spices to cook with! Plenty of dish towels, wash towels, linens enough for a two week stay for everyone. The owners left nothing out and it shows how well they take care of the home. The pool was excellent as was the hot spa tub. The two master bedrooms are to die for...beds were so comfortable - I must buy that mattress!
Once you experience renting a home like this you never want to think about a hotel again.
This property in Kissimmee is located in the best spot. Very short 15 minute drive to all the Disney Parks. The community pool is great as well. Too deep for anyone under 5 or 6. The actual house was gigantic. We had 4 adults and 2 kids and had no problem staying out of each others way. The kitchen had most items needed for a meal. We had to go and buy and few kitchen tools which we left there. Make sure you bring your own dish soap and toilet paper. Do not pay to use the BBQ as it is beyond use. The owners offered to replace the grill but it would take much more than that. The pool is nice and we used it a lot. Ask management when they plan on coming by to shock the pool as you will need to stay out of the pool for the day unless you want burning eyes. There were lots of towels to use. Washer works well, dryer quite working the day we left. We advised management so I assume it got it fixed. The games room really wasn't usable. The pool table was off balance and the fooseball table was missing the ball and some pieces. All the beds were comfortable. TV's and WIFI worked great. There were enough blankets and pillows for every one and more. Window coverings need maintenance or replacement. There was a lot of black mold in my room which was off the pool and in my bathroom. Not sure if this is normal for Florida or not. Most of the rooms are only lit by lamps. This was new for me coming from Canada. Apparently quite common a few decades ago. Problem was it made the rooms dark and only half the lamps work. Some were broken, some needed bulbs and one had it's cord cut in half. The house could use a thorough cleaning from top to bottom. This was once a beautiful home but it is in great need of some maintenance by the owners.
This house is in need of some TLC. The carpets are dirty, the lamp in the living room has no shade, the blinds are broken, The patio door is really difficult to open and to top it all off the pool area is filthy , the patio furniture was so dirty it looked like sometime out of a one star hotel. The floor in one of the upstairs bathroom feels like it's ready to collapse, we were scared to walk on it . If this house was looked after and cleaned up it would be an excellent rental property. The resort ( emerald island) is a beautiful gated community. I suggest you rent another house if you want to have a good experience.
We did indeed enjoy your rental home. All of us were accomodated nicely in our own rooms and beds. We also appreciated how timely any problems we encountered were addressed by your managers. That is a lovely resort community too. Certianly we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. I'm not sure we would be as large a group next time though. My husband and I usually go to Florida every year for the Food and Wine Festival at EPCOT, but we've always stayed in a nearby hotel. Difinately renting home we could consider for next year.
Judy & Jim,
I just wanted to take a minute and thank you for our wonderful vacation in your home on Secret Key Cove.
You may remember that we had a large group of women (parents of special needs children) that came in from all over the country and from Canada to rest and relax and enjoy one another's company. We rented a total of 7 villas in the Emerald Island community. Your home was our "Advanced Party" villa.. we had a group of women that came in and prepared things for the other 58 women, and we also stayed a day late.
Your home was very beautiful, and we felt very pampered being there. We enjoyed all aspects of the home.. the bedrooms, the bathrooms, the pool, the living room, dining room and kitchen. One night we hosted a purse party where we raised $1200 for a women's program in Haiti. We had a (very) informal 5k throughout the grounds of Emerald Island Resort. We went to the Matthew Michael's Aveda Spa at West Loop. We went out to dinner at Taverna Opa (all 68 of us!) We truly had a wonderful time. And we can't wait to come again next year.
Please know that we treated your house with the utmost care, as we would love to be able to come again. The only suggestions we have for improving your house are with regards to the kitchen. I would imagine that most people do not do a lot of food preparation for large groups, but we wanted to, and sometimes that was challenging with the cookware that was available.
Thank you so much for providing such a beautiful home and allowing us to come and stay in it.
Dear Judy and Jim: I wish to convey to you our sincerest gratitude for granting us the privilege of staying at your magnificent Villa during our recent tour in Florida.
As I had mentioned to you from the onset, even with the band being together for 37 years, this was the first time ever the tour was long enough, and the performances scattered throughout the state, that we felt it would be a wise decision to stay housed in one location. After searching and researching many villa's in the Kissimmee area, we had the good fortune of finding yours.
From the very first communication with you, till the band closed the door behind them, this was an absolutely phenomenal experience. The both of you were so wonderful to communicate with....a perfect match for the beautiful virtual tour provided on the internet. You worked so cooperatively with us regarding the fee as well as offering other amenities. While we all were very excited about the prospect of residing in such a gracious home, we still had apprehensions about all living together under the same room for such an extensive amount of time.
Well, we certainly found out, Jim and Judy, that those apprehensions were unfounded and unwarranted. From the moment the band arrived in your home, till ....even now....I am hearing how wonderful....in fact....perfect....their stay was at your Villa. I heard comments how nice it was to be in such a beautiful "home away from home" with all the amenities of home, how much there was to do in the area, the pool, the hot tub...the lovely rooms, the TV in each room, further offering each band member their own privacy. I heard that the home was large enough for everyone to have their own space, yet homey enough for band members to get together, to rehearse, to bond, and share ideas.
While some envy the life of entertainers on the road, it is very difficult when they have to be away from their own homes and families. While I would imagine your tenants run the gamut of all walks of life, a group that makes their living by being on the road is most appreciative when their lodging is as lovely as yours. Judy, Jim...your beautiful Villa gave to The Fabulous Hubcaps the next best thing to being in their very own home. We thank you....we commend you for being such outstanding homeowners and business people, we highly recommend your Villa (hoping that no one would want to use it the same time we do!)
With our thanks, and gratitude.... Janie
