My husband and I, along with my mother and our dog, stayed here in January 2010 for two weeks. We had a great time. The house is incredibly clean and very comfortable. We instantly felt right at home. We happened to arrive just in time for record cold temperatures. Everything was fine though, as the house had plenty of extra blankets to keep us warm. We gave my mother the master bedroom since it has a shower that was very easy for her to use (she's 89). We took one of the other bedrooms, which was very comfortable. The kitchen is wonderful - there is a huge selection of pans and utensils. With the microwave, toaster, and coffeemaker, we had everything we needed within easy reach. The view out back is really lovely, and the screened-in porch is very roomy. The weather wasn't with us, or we would have used it more. This house is very close to all kinds of restaurants, including Ruby Tuesday, TGI Friday's, Chili's, and plenty of unique little restaurants as well. In 5 minutes you can be on the Tamiami Trail, which will take you pretty much anywhere along the Gulf. It's about an hour to Sarasota, and less time to Ft Myers. We went to Sanibel Island a couple times, which is about an hour away, and well worth the very pleasant drive. The neighbors are very friendly - we met several of them while walking our dog. The next door neighbors are very helpful as well. They left us a package containing information on the area, and a map, all of which was waiting on the doorstep when we arrived. The owners, Don and Robin, had sent us a map before we left, so we were ready for anything. We've only been home a week, and we've already received our security deposit back. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Don and Robin, for thinking of all the little details!

Wow what a nice getaway.
Home away says it all,very clean and maintained well. Nice quiet nabourhood, with freindly and helpfull nabours. The home is better than the listing says it is. The owner was very helpful in answering all of my questions.Beaches/ shopping/fishing & restaurants are all within 5min to 30 min away. Haveing a nice place you feel at home & comfortable at makes all the differance. Would recommend this vacation home to all. Don & Robin trust you with their home, show your respect, and have a great vacation.
Our vacation was a time to remember,and it all started with a nice place to put your feet up and relax.
We thank you very much for letting us rent your beautiful home.
