Best, Relaxing Family Vacation

What a beautiful place this was to rent for my family and me. My wife loved the layout of the home. All of us loved the fact that we were 150 feet to the beach, able to take walks anytime; find shells and sand dollars; see pelicans, dolphins, little sharks, and manta reys; enjoy beautiful sunsets, and the warmth of Florida. We swam both in the Gulf and also in the pool which we had heated.
The property was close to a grocery store, restaurants, bike rentals, the free trolley, and the bike trail. It was clean, had plenty of towels, and the landscaping was breath taking.
David, owner, did a wonderful job of communicating and making sure our stay was going well. Our communication together included phone conversations and emails. He called to make sure that there would not be any difficulties gaining access to his home. Plenty of keys for access is a plus.
Our family enjoys being beach bums. The weather was in the 70's and 80's all for one day which had a high of 64. So it was perfect for wearing shorts or swimsuits. The home was nicely equipped with beach chairs, mats, toys, and all that you need to enjoy the seashore.
One day it rained, we went to the Ellerton Outlet Mall and had a great time shopping.
We took our adult children ages 26-21. We are still talking about what we did and how much fun and how much we miss being at David's home. It was the most relaxing vacation that we have ever had as a family! We rented bikes for 24 hours and rode the whole island, discovering places that you would not see by car or trolley.
There was Internet access for those who needed it, a TV in every bedroom plus the living room. We were able to eat lunch on the screened in porch. A pool cover made sure that the pool was always nice and warm. The kitchen is fully stocked. There is wonderful closet space and pantry space. The home is equipped with everything you need. It was a plus to have both as gas grill and a charcoal grill available.
I would recommend this property. If you need more than room for 8, David has a duplicate home right beside the one shown. But this is great for young or older families who just want to unwind and chill.
The Sam's Club is about 20 minutes away. Publix grocery store 6 blocks. The Star Fish Market 3-4 miles. An all you can eat pancake breakfast is 4 blocks away. Anna Maria Island is truly a jewel!
