The Westside Neighborhood has three parks in walking distance, including McNear Park which hosts the Outdoor Summer Movie Series and Walnut Park which hosts the local Farmer's Market. Cavanaugh Recreation Center is located within 6 blocks and offers Swimming, Basketball, Tennis, Horseshoes, a Baseball Diamond, a Soccer Field and a Children's Playground.

My girlfriend and I recently spent a weekend at this eco-friendly home near downtown Petaluma. The craftsmanship of this home is impressive. It's obvious that much thought went into the simplest of details. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the state-of-the art kitchen was stocked with everything a guest could possibly need. We really enjoyed the spaciousness of all the rooms. It was easy to relax - - the light pouring in from every window (especially the view from the upstairs master) was incredible.

Based on the owner's recommendation, on our first night we walked to a fantastic Japanese restaurant right in town. After dinner we checked out the downtown area, which was an excellent way to end the evening.

The owners were very helpful in also recommending local sights and wineries - - we felt as though we were getting an insider's peek into this great little area.

This home can easily accommodate two to three couples at the same time with plenty of room for all. We will definitely be back, hopefully with friends in tow.
