This home is located just outside the city limits with yet the feel of country. There are so many activities close by- shopping in downtown, casual or fine dining, hiking, golfing, fishing, swimming and much much more. After a long day of sight seeing come back to the house and just relax on the covered back porch and maybe grill out that perfect steak. Maybe take a stroll around the lake, fish on the bank and visit with the friendly ducks. This home has been totally remodeled from top to bottom in 2008. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 and half baths. The master has a King bed and a wonderful shower to relax in. The 2nd room has a queen. The third room has two single beds. There are also 3 sleeper sofas in individual living spaces on three lower levels. Plenty of room for everyone.

We are located just 2.5 miles from Historic downtown Hendersonville where there are lots of great shops and restaurants. The famous Carl Sandburg home and Flat Rock Playhouse are just minutes away. Just a short drive down the hill is Lake Lure, where Dirty Dancing the movie was filmed and the Great Chimney Rock views. North of Hendersonville is the wonderful Biltmore House and Gardens, Grove Park Inn and lots more shopping in the Village of Biltmore. Driving West will take you to many great waterfalls and hiking trails near Brevard or take a beautiful drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Enjoy the Privacy: We love this home in Hendersonville it is located near everything and yet you have nothing to concern yourself with. The Carl Sandburg Home is a short 10 min drive and the Beautiful Lake Lure and Chimney Rock attractions are a MUST. Try some shopping in the Historic Downtown Hendersonville or how about an afternoon looking for Gems and Stones at our local Gem mines. There is probably no way to get all the activities done while you are on vacation, but you will have a great time trying your best and we will provide you with all the help and guidance we can to fulfill your vacation goals. Go for a great scoop of Ice Cream only a mile to the best in town and while you are there, gaze at the collection of antiques they have put together. Or you can just come back to your get away, and take a simple walk down to the lake--that may be exactly what the doctor has ordered...

Our family takes a girl trip every year, usually in Sept. My sister and I have never been to North Carolina. So we decided to come to the Asheville area and to see the Biltmore. It was raining the day we got there, which was Sept.21. Actually flooding out in some areas. The weather got better and we ended up having a nice stay. The house is very well maintained and in a great area. The owner of the house is very nice and down to earth. Was very helpful in giving us info on some things we needed to know. The people are so friendly. Every where we went, every one was so nice. And if you like nature you'll love this place. Just Beautiful. We really enjoyed our vacation. Oh, and the shopping was great. Make sure you go to Kirkland's in the Asheville Mall. And there are plenty of stores and restaurants by the house. I'm sure you will enjoy it as much as we did.
