What a fantastic Tahoe Donner vacation retreat! This 4 bedroom plus loft, 3 bath home will sleep 12 comfortably. Bedding includes two Kings - one in the master suite downstairs, one upstairs with a bathroom attached; one Queen bed downstairs; two Bunk Beds in the 'kids' room downstairs; and one Queen bed upstairs in a semi private loft area. *The loft area is accessed by a ladder in the laundry room and furnishes only a Queen bed, good for older kids. Additional loft above the kitchen can sleep 2 on a blow-up mattress.
There are separate family and living rooms. The family room/den has a TV and a gas fireplace, and the main living room has a gas fireplace and door leading out to the back deck with a hot tub. There's also plenty of room in the back yard to play. The yard adjoins green space, perfect for short hikes. There is a children's play house and a play structure in the back yard. There is another, smaller deck near the front of the house which is a great place to gather for morning coffee.
The master suite upstairs features a comfortable King bed with a semi private bathroom. In addition to the master suite, the upstairs level offers an open space in the loft with an office area, comfy reading chair, and lots of kids toys. Other features include a fully equipped kitchen along with a breakfast bar great for gathering around, wet bar sink and counter, TV/DVD, and dining area. This house is great for large gatherings due to it's multiple family areas and large decks perfect for BBQ's.
This home has plenty of toys, children books, and a play area out back for kids to enjoy your stay.
This home has an attached 2 car garage, hot tub, Wi-Fi internet access with computer, BBQ on the back deck, and is close the Tahoe Donner cross country ski/equestrian center, and about 2 miles to the downhill ski area.
Tahoe Donner is a wonderful, mountainous resort community with its own small downhill ski area, a fantastic cross country ski center, a sledding hill, small market/deli, and Recreation Center. The Rec Center offers hot tubs, heated pool, fitness center, saunas, health spa, tennis courts, downhill and cross country ski resorts, equestrian center, Golf Club with 18-hole course and driving range, a public restaurant (The Lodge at Tahoe Donner), and a private beach on Donner Lake.
Tahoe Donner is conveniently situated at the upper west end of Truckee. It is 5 minutes to downtown shopping and restaurants, and 10-30 minutes to ski area resorts including Tahoe Donner, North star at Tahoe, Squaw, Alpine Meadows, Sugar bowl, Soda Spring, Donner Ski Ranch, and Royal Gorge Cross Country Center.
This rental includes access cards for the Tahoe Donner Recreation Center resident amenities. A nominal charge applies for some activities.
