Perfect St Thomas vacation condo

We spent a week at this St Thomas condo and it was perfect for us in just about every way. Firstly, Rick and Susan have the rental process completely figured out - everything from our last minute reservation, provision of detailed instructions, offers of help, and prepaid envelope to return the keys was seemless. The condo itself had convenient parking and was certainly plenty spacious enough for our family (2 adults, 2 young kids, nanny) and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay (all the usual amenities and many more - our final 'test' was to check if there was an oven thermometer for our roast chicken - never seen one in a rental before, but there was one here!). The location is also ideal - close to the small town of Red Hook (with a few nice restaurants, coffee shop, ice cream parlors, grocery store) and with easy access to the ferry to island hop if you are so inclined. It's also a short drive to Coral World which is great for a morning, and it's easy enough to get anywhere else on the island from here. But best of all was the resort itself - be aware that there are a number of steps (50 / 60 ?) from the condo down to the center of the resort (tricky for us with young kids, but manageable), but once there you will find a couple of great restaurants, an excellent pool / lounging area and the most perfect beach for people who want to just relax by / in the water and soak up the sun (and in our case watch the kids play). Magens Bay beach was certainly nice, but super-crowded and in our opinion there was no real need to leave the beach and pool at the resort. We're so glad we stumbled across this vacation condo, and it comes highly recommended!
