Golf and Tennis:
If Golf is your passion, then Princeville is your Paradise. The famed 45-hole Princeville Golf Complex was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. The 27-hole Makai Course, just across the street from our Townhouse, ranked for many years in Golf Digest's 'Top 100', is embodied of three 9-hole courses aptly names Ocean, Lakes and Woods and here you will find just that to challenge your metal. The 18-hole Prince Course is often rated as the #1 course in the State of Hawaii, will test your game from the ocean's edge, through majestic mango groves, over deep ravines to unheralded hill tops for views you will long remember. Both are among the World's most challenging and picturesque championship courses.
But, if Tennis is your passion you will enjoy the Tennis Club at the Makai Course where a full service Tennis Club and Shop are maintained. Teaching Tennis Pro's are available should you wish to sharpen your game.
Beaches:
Many will tell you Hawaii's best beaches are on the north-shore of Kauai. Much to the delight of all concerned Hanalei Bay, just a 2-mile drive, was just recently named #1 Best Beach in the USA and #7 Best Beach in the World. The bay is protected by a coral reed making swimming & water play for all ages safe. It offers a 3-mile stretch of white sand that is never crowded for just walking along the water's edge, for Yoga, for sunbathing,
for picnicing, for magnificent photography of the surrounding pristine mountain ranges, as well, as the ocean.
Princeville is ideally located to all the north shore's many natural & open to the public beaches. You will find snorkeling, scuba, para-scuba and many other beach activities to enjoy. The Kalalau Trail entrance is at the end of the Highway past Hanalei - approx a 15 minute drive with awesome, spectacular views of the ocean and the mountains. Don't miss this drive while on Kauai!
