You know what they say in Real Estate: Location, Location, Location. Isla Bela Beach Resort is a private gated community located on the western coast of Puerto Rico now called Porta del Sol which translates to 'Doorway to the Sun'. To be exact, it is located just minutes from the Rafael Hernández Airport (BQN). Porta del Sol, a place where the pace is slower but filled with fun and the warmth of the Puerto Rican culture. For decades Porta del Sol has been a popular vacation spot for the residents of the island offering beaches and attractions away from the hustle and bustle of the metropolitan areas. It is also well known to surfers from the United States who have been vacationing here since the 1960’s. The majority of the condos are owned as vacation homes and only a few are used as a primary residence. There are two apartments per floor.

Excellent place to enjoy with family and friends. Quiet and peaceful but close to malls and restaurants to enjoy a great meal. It is comfortable and cozy, well equipped and furnished. A great beach is at walking distance, and the pool is great to enjoy and sunbath safely. I am willing to come back!!!

This was my second visit to the penthouse. It is very comfortable and cozy. The place is quiet and peaceful. It is at walking distance to a beautiful beach and you have the option to enjoy the swimming pool and sunbath comfortably and safe. It is away from the town noise and congestion but close enough to malls and restaurants to enjoy shopping or a nice meal with family and friends. A perfect combination!!!! I am enthusiastically waiting to return for the greatest vacations at Isabela.

An incredible place to stay!

Isabela, Puerto Rico is an incredible place to go. It should be on everyone's bucket list! This condo was the best place to stay. The owner is very accommodating and available by phone and email.

It was our first time to go to Puerto Rico and we will go back. This condo is right on the beach and we had our own private access to it. The ocean is the clearest and warmest water ever.

The municipality of Isabela is really nice as well. No passport required and plenty of things to do...surfing, snorkeling, shopping, eating, etc! I would recommend this place to anyone!

My husband and I have family in Isabela and we love the area. On our last visit to PR, we decided to stay on the beach and we found just the perfect place!

First, the owner was very helpful during the booking process and he sent us a very useful information package a few days prior to our arrival. He included information about the facilities, how to access the property and things to do in Isabela. We got to the apartment without any issues. It was true to the pictures on the website and it was well equipped with towels, bed linens, cookware, washer/dryer, internet,...

We spent most of our time during the day on the beach (which can be accessed directly from the apartment complex) and the pool. At night, we enjoyed the breeze (and the grill) on the rooftop terrace.

It is a great location at a great price! We already booked our next stay!
