Shopping: Magnificent apartment in pre-war stucco apartment building, decorated in modern with antiques, accessibility to all the important shopping areas of West-Berlin: KaDeWe 5 minutes, Fasanenstrasse 5 minutes, Europacenter 2 minutes, Wertheim.
Cultural: Close to most cultural centres. Berliner Festspiele 5 minutes walk, Theater des Westens 5 minutes walk, numerous movie palaces within 5 minutes, Literaturcafe Fasanenstrasse 4 minutes, many art galleries.
Sightseeing: The Berliner Zoo and the Tiergarten are within 5 minutes walk, all sightseeing busses throughout Berlin and to Potsdam start within 2 minutes walk from the apartment. The cafes on Ku-Damm are the best for people watching. Dahlem, Grunewald Brandenburg Gate, Potsdamer Platz are reached within 10 minutes by public transportation.
Other Activities: fitness centers in the Europacenter and in the Kranzlereck, swimming at the Thermen at the Europacenter
