Galveston Vacation Rental house

My family and I arrived at Paradise Retreat on July 31,2009,Friday evening. The air condition was working for about an hour. I thought maybe all of the in and out was making the air condition work too hard, but the air condition wasn't working at all. I contacted the owner and she sent someone who didn't know what he was doing because for the whole weekend we did not have air condition in Paradise Retreat and that was no Paradise. I spoke with Mixilia the owner about a discount and she kept putting me off. She didn't not show up on check out to give us a discount either. I think I was treated unfairly. She isn't answering any of my phone calls. I had to leave the keys on the countertop. We left at 9:00am, but checkout was at 11:00am because it was too hot to stay any longer. The only thing that was nice was the pool. Even the refrigerator wasn't cooling, thank goodness there was a refrigerator outside that we were able to put stuff in. If she would have called a real air conditon repair man to fix the air condition it would have been nice. Please don't bring me a bottle of wine, because it was too hot to drink the wine. I wanted the air condition to be working. We cleaned the place before we left. The owner should have come and given us a discount, instead she chose not to come for check out.
