San Marco Residences Marco Island Vacation Rental condo

My husband, son, and myself stayed in this fabulous unit for six memorable days. There are so many positives, from the unit itself which is beautifully decorated and meticulously taken care of, to the gorgeous beach, and fabulous island. The units location was superb, in walking distance to shops and restaurants, and directly across from the ocean. Moreover, the units kitchen was roomy and provided everything one would need. We took great advantage of the kitchen and were able to not only cook breakfast on a daily basis, but we made two special dinners along with a cake. Our favorite part of our stay would honestly be sitting on the balcony watching the sunset. It was spectacular. We highly recommend a visit to Marco Island, and to this unit especially. This vacation was truly one of our most enjoyable, and we look forward to returning in the near future.

Our stay was incredible - probably the most restful vacation I've ever had. Your condo was just as presented on the site. It really was wonderful! I didn't realize there were only 2 or 3 places to access the beach on the island. That direct beach access should probably be stressed more on your site (especially for people like me, who hadn't been to the island before). Parking for other locations must be a nightmare (unless staying in the highrise condos) during high season.

I think the location was perfect - close to the activity of the Marriot and the other high rise condos directly on the beach, but away from the frenetic activity of those spots. The access to the beach couldn't have been better - the path is directly across the street with a shower on the route you'd follow to return to the condo, and the walk is so short! I love the fact that you have a choice once you get to the beach - you had the option to set up on the busier end of the beach with more people if you turn left, or you could explore the quieter end ( looking for shells, seeing sea turtle nests, birds nesting, osprey on the beach, fishing off the beach) if you bear to the right. We prefered the quieter end (minus the fishing). The view from the condo was beautiful - I love the contrast between the trees / other vegetation and the ocean.

We didn't really use the kitchen, other than for breakfast. Even though we used the kitchen sparingly, it was well stocked with more than enough plates and glasses. I know there were pots, but since we ate out for our meals, I really didn't check through them too carefully. We were pleasantly surprised with the access to additional linens and towels - definely a nice extra. The shower was wonderful - once we returned home, we decided we need to find a better showerhead! The water pressure in the shower was phenomenal - better than most hotels. We did use the washer and dryer located on the floor. It was nice that each indicated the length of the wash and drying cycles, so I didn't need to hover for the completion of the cycle. They were large and clean - the dryer easily dried the wash load well within the indicated time. We never used the pool or tennis courts.

Your place is the perfect size for a couple, but would definely work for a couple with small children. Really, everything was perfect!
