Love the North Shore

What a great experience! We loved the house. My family of eight spent a week at the Anini Kai Hulali. We rented both levels and it was great for providing additional privacy for my older teens. The water on the beach was so calm and perfect for wading. We saw lots of fish without even scuba diving. My husband likes scuba diving and he enjoyed that. This was our first time visiting the North Shore and we fell in love with it. We usually stay in Poipu but no more! It was sunny and warm six out of seven days. The day we left it rained for an hour. Otherwise we had perfect weather. The only downside to the home was the lack of air conditioning but I knew about it before I rented and took a chance on it anyway. I am used to Utah's desert air and found the humidity a little overwhelming sometimes. But it cooled off quite nicely after dark so sleeping wasn't too bad. The house was pretty well stocked with dishes and such. There are more bugs on the North Shore than the south and plenty of geckos abound. But it was all part of the adventure. Will definitely come again!

Nice House - Great Location

We have stayed at several homes on the North Shore of Kaua'i and this is one of our favorites. You can't get much closer to the water in a rental home. There is a very narrow dirt road between the house and the sand, but very little traffic because you are almost at the end of Anini Road. The water is mellow in this part of the beach so great for small kids, even in winter. The house itself is a little spartan, but very clean and has everything you need. We only rented the upstairs but the downstairs looked nice with a gameroom and big room with king bed. Also lots of nice chairs and beach stuff in the laundry room. A good bargain for the price compared to other houses and the manager was great to work with us on our scheduling.

We had a great stay on Anini Beach. My family throughly engoyed waking up and sitting on the balcony overlooking the wide expanse of Anini Beach. The house was clean and spacious and met all of our needs. We enjoyed the beach, farmers markets and just laying on the beach.

Great Location - Clean, Perfectly Stocked and Comfortable Home

My husband and I and our two children (ages 14 and 3 1/2) stayed at this wonderful beach house from June 21 through June 30th. My husband's parents also joined us and stayed in the unit downstairs.

We arrived about an hour and half prior to check in to find Barbara, Tim and their crew cleaning away. They graciously allowed us to put our cold groceries in the refrigerator/freezer and we left to do some more grocery shopping in Princeville. When we returned at 4 p.m., the house was immaculate and ready for us to enjoy!

The house is very comfortable, clean, stocked very nicely with everything you would need and conveniently, close to everything, we wanted to do (horseback riding at Silver Falls Ranch, Zip lining at Princeville Ranch, Helicopter Tour at Sunshine Helicopters, shopping in Princeville and Hanalei).

We rented a double kayak in Hanalei and used it for four days at the house. The water is very calm, perfect for our little daughter to play in without any worry. The beach chairs, lounge chairs, and toys were great and in good condition. The beach towels were perfect!

Side note - the sheets on the masterbedroom bed were so soft you never wanted to get out of bed! Thankfully, the gorgeous view from the bedroom encouraged us to get up and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

We highly recommend staying at this home and look forward to when we will be able to come back and enjoy it again!

We have a fabulous time. We over that the house was on the north end of the island and right by the beach. The house is basic but has everything you need. My husband loved the outdoor shower. It was a wonderful place. We would go again anytime.
