This property has complete privacy on 26 acres and is perfect for a family reunion or a getaway with friends.

The home has two gas fireplaces, a new kitchen with granite counter tops, updated bathrooms , sauna, and a wonderful screened-in porch and sun deck.

There is large family room and also a cozy den and game room in the original log structure. There is seating for 16 for meals, with fully appointed kitchen.

In the heart of the White Mountains!: Lisbon, New Hampshire is a small, sleepy town next to Sugar Hill, Franconia and Littleton. The Ammounousac river flows nearby which can fished in or rafted on. The Ammonousuc Golf Club is a mile down the road which has a wonderful restaurant - although once you get to the house, you may not want to leave. The 26 acre property contains streams and pasture. It was previously a horse and llama farm. The log home was originally built in the 70's and recently added onto and updated. All of the bathrooms are modern. The home interior is pine and is comfortably furnished for a large group.

Area Attractions: 20 minutes from Cannon Mountain , 35 from Bretton Woods and the Mount Washington Hotel. We have access to skiing.hiking, rafting, fishing, boating and area attractions such as Polly's Pancake House, the Flume Gorge, Clark's Trading Post and the Whale's Tail ( water Park).

Our family loves to ski and snowboard in winter and enjoy the beautufl mountains in summer, we also love to invite up a lot of friends to have memorable times. Our home is cozy, warm and very family friendly.

Notes: This a great place to unwind, play board games with your kids, watch the fireflies from the screened porch and maybe roast marshmallows in the fire pit while keeping an eye out for deer, turkeys, groundhogs and many other forms of wildlife. We also have a FIRE PIT.

Great Experience, Beautiful Property

This property was absolutely amazing. The house is very large, with plenty of rooms and amenities. The grounds are private but quite spacious. There is plenty of room for outdoor activities and relaxation. I highly recommend this property, especially for large groups (lots of bedrooms).

"Cabin Palace" getaway!

12 of my friends and I rented the house in August 2011 and were thrilled with our stay. The "cabin palace" (as we liked to call it) easily fits that large a group with room to spare. The setting is private and in beautiful woods but only a 5-minute drive from Lisbon. There are plenty of rooms to hang out in as well as two separate upstairs sections and a basement with bunk beds. This place is ideal for a large group getaway. My friends and I are already dreaming of going back!

We LOVED it here!!! :)

What a beautiful home and surrounding landscape! The owner provided excellent customer service. :) The house was the perfect size for our family reunion/85th birthday celebration...there were 20 of us staying there, plus three dogs! We had a wonderful time, and our three boys (ages 13, 12, and 8) never complained that they had nothing to do (which was surprising as there was no internet or cable tv!!) :)
The house is totally secluded, surrounded by trees and mountains...which can be viewed from the two perfectly placed Adirondack chairs the owners have on the property. You would never know that the town is only a few minutes away. We mostly enjoyed the opportunity to spend time together, but we did take a few day trips to area attractions. Echo Lake, Franconia Notch area, and Bath were a few of our highlights.
Our vacation was peaceful, beautiful, relaxing, and just wonderful. The house was equipped with everything we could have possibly needed...right down to laundry detergent! :)
I would definitely recommend this property to my friends and family.

Wonderland!

We had an amazing stay there! We were a group of 14 (+2 kids). The house was beautiful, very clean, cozy and comfortable for everyone. The description on the website in very accurate in regards to the location, attraction, amenities, etc. Great kitchen if you like to cook and overall a very well-equipped house. Very quiet and peaceful area, great for getting in touch with the nature. A ton of outdoor activies, and the location and the views are simply BREATHTAKING!!! The owners were great, very helpful and responsive all the way from A to Z. We will definitely go back!!! I would highly recommend it to ANYONE!! Thanks :)

great spot for families

We loved our stay here with our extended family. We had 4 kids under the age of 2, and it worked perfectly for us. It was very clean and comfortable. It was refreshing to rent a place that had a well equipped kitchen. We are used to finding rental kitchens quite inadequate for cooking (dull knives, cheap pans, no bakeware etc.) but this place had a good supply of decent quality stuff - a huge plus if you like to cook (which we do!). The owners were very available and responsive throughout the rental process, leading up to and including the weekend. Overall, a great stay!
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
