Completely brand new 1165 square foot home has central air, 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a 1 stall garage, and a 1 stall carport. There is a porch complete with a gas grill, patio chairs, and an umbrella table in the backyard and a wood deck overlooking the water. There is also a dock, a swimming platform, a paddleboat, and the home is within 500 feet of a lakeside public park complete with a beach, playground, picnicking area, boat launch, and basketball courts. If you're looking for a dream vacation look no further! Weekends also available in Sept/Oct. Also Memorial/Labor Day.

Biking and walking : Muskegon County is home to three trails. The City of Muskegon Lakeshore Trail, The Musketawa Trail on the east side of the county and the Hart-Montague Trail State Park in the northern section Muskegon County. City of Muskegon Lakeshore Trail: The Lakeshore Trail is designed to provide users many different sceneries, including Lake Michigan, Muskegon Lake, dunes, parks, and the City of Muskegon. You can easily reach portions of the trail from the Lake Express car ferry terminal. By following Lakeshore Dr. west on the road you meet a section of paved trail at Cottage Grove which will bring you to Pere Marquette Park. The trail loops around the park and includes great views of Lake Michigan. By traveling east from the ferry terminal on the road, down Lakeshore Dr. along Muskegon Lake, you will reach downtown Muskegon and be able to reach the paved north portion of the trail along Shoreline Dr. with great views of Muskegon Lake.

well equipped with everything you need. very meticulously planned kitchen with all amenities for cooking. she had clean towels, sheets and beautiful views. the lake was lovely and warm. my 2 kids swam and went paddle boating. my parents enjoyed the views too.
we went to sand Dunes and the beach.
Barbara made it very enjoyable with her lovely well equipped kitchen. laundry washer dryer was a plus.
very clean.

This cottage was perfect for our family of 6--four little girls. Was just a simple home with bare, but adequate necessities. (Be sure to know that you must supply your own indoor toys/books, sand toys, beach towels, and paper products.) Our girls loved using the little sandy area and lake right at the end of the yard. (We just wish we'd remembered our beach umbrella or canopy b/c there's really no shade.) We enjoy staying in that general area b/c we can easily visit Pere Marquette(nice beach area!!) or do day trips south--Grand Haven, or north--Ludington, and every little town in between. Plenty of playgrounds all throughout the area too. It worked out great for us. We would have liked having a canoe/kayak or paddle boat to use on the premises. Washer and dryer onsite is a plus. Overall it's an excellent value for our family. Thanks Sandy and Aimee!
